hi!! ok in C-section u have to analyze..it depends on how bloody bleeding it is..patient is on general anesthesia, post-op NPO until pt. bowel activity back to normal..so all u can do is IV fluids..which is as long as maintain regulations/infusions..no signs of fluid overload pt. is fine...most common is the bleeding so check for any signs or danger in bleeding/ loosing to much blood cause post op. hemorrhage. which will eventually cause loosing fluids too.so it depends on how much bleeding it is....free to ask o.k. i know ur having anxiety right now which is normal..but try to relax.:wink2:

:)u r totally right..here's the tip always go wid fluids first. but if the choices includes airways..goes wid it..u will find question wid airways on choices..think about ABC... fluid over fever (actually wen it comes to triage fever is one of the least priority).and try to brush up infectious control..darn!! it, it is so tricky. dont answer the Q's right away coz somethings always missing wid those choices so think.

and yea they will give u designated locker for u to keep ur c.p just turn em off. and its a big one enough to put urself in and hide:D (kidding) just trying to make u smile and relax. again goodluck any Q's ask me hehe.

hi!! i think 2-3 cushing syndromes and yea addisons disease, 1-2 lyme disease, actually no DM, and myocardial infarction..which i focused on studying:angryfire. good thing not much of SATA,well u can never tell different sets of Q's to every test takers..just try to relax and focus on every Q's as lots of them are tricky one's.. goodluck to u, ur gona make it!!!:wink2:

I understand what you all been going through..it is really tough to fail the test after those extensive reviews. but always remind ourselves there's always reasons why???. It may not be this time, but eventually wer all going to the same place we wana be, I myself also in ur same shoes though i haven't got my result yet but in our system i know the fact wer i'm at. hope and prayer is what keeps me positive. I'ts o.k to be disappointed, release the DAM (despair,anxiety and madness). but after that take a deep breath and think..ask urself is DAM still within me?? or should i move on... just keep movin..remember it is just a test..when u apply for work they will not gona ask u how many times u fail instead what u can do for humanity.. my point of view :as long as we live everything is a TEST (Trial, Error, Second Try). so dont give up..lets all be proud of ourselves. I had a lot of delegations and priority Q's, i think 2 calculations which they made it so complicated that i had to do a lot of thinking, tons of drag and drop,mostly area of pedia.and adults. not much of DM which on every reviews i did it's always the Q's. funny thing is i focused on reviewing about that "Lyme" disease that i so know all of it..but on exam i totally blanked out. but one thing sigh of relief i only had 1 or 2 SATA..which is my weakness. thanx u all guys..this thread/forum makes us come out and express our feelings bout the test. atleast it ease us knowing we've gone through the same path. one thing PASS/FAIL at the end we all look like this .

Ca. and u? im just so insanely worried..i have read as if everyone here passed at 75...does it mean the computer cant decide as wether they will pass us or not on 75??? wow im really going crazy..cant wait.

Hi! it seems like every posted threads here or atleast most of them passed @ 75 Q's only, I took mine yesterday and shut off @ 115..does it mean anything,im really worried any1 for an answer???

I took mine this morning too..shut at 110 too. same thing i cant even cry im so numb till now..i walked out the testing center as if im walking in the moon..the proctor or whatever u called them..told me to take a deep breath coz probably she thought im about to faint..i didn't even get my break..coz i wanna continue, dont wana loose concentration:D. im just hoping 110 is a good number for us..goodluck

o.k from what i've heard you can't really know for sure what's the high level questions are. it seems all of them are the same (gona think critically). but one thing i noticed and i hope u guys noticed it too..that sometimes they ask a LOT of Q's in one topic or nature of test Q's. so if u think they asked a lot about Cushing's then i think thats the high level Q's for u. as for meow2 i think ur's is the SATA Q's:wink2:. im psyche haha....mine i think delegation and prioritization..coz i can't even count how many..all i know is a LOT!!!..so well lets wait and see:p

I'm a foreign nurse too, from phillipines and im about to take mine next week..i would'nt say I'm 100% sure i'l pass since its been 5 years i haven't practicing. im using saunders 4th edition...it's really different here from what i've learned but we foreign nurses its a challenge for us....pass or fail the first time??? it doesnt matter..just always set ur mind that if u fail it is not because ur not a good nurse or dont have capable to be a nurse here,,always tell yourself that maybe because u wer a foreign nurse, and foreign nurses needs to do a lot of adaptation here in U.S....i have some tips later for now..i'l eat first o.k just woke up though bye!! and congrats. nursemitch..mmmm di i know u????

Hi there!!! im taking NCLEX RN next week,and im having a lot of anxiety/ stress right now. i never got a chance to review much since i work full time. I tried kaplan online..halfway through..before i know it my subscription ended..im so mad on myself..coz i paid much and never used it much..i bought saunders 4th edition, that's what im doing right now reading and answering Q's. hopefully it will help....:)..by the way im new to this thread...i graduated in the philippines and moved here..i took my first board of nursing 1997..and it feels great to pass the first time..since then i worked as a nurse and had a lots of experiences. i just hope it helps me move on to become a U.S nurse...but i set my minds whatever happens our life and our dreams must go on...funny thing is i had a lot of friends way back..that didnt pass the first time..eventually made it.. and they wer better than me or lets say same better as me.hehe ...so for those of us that will going to take NCLEX just remember that its not how many times we take the test pass or fail. it's the commitment for becoming a nurse and a quality of care we give to our patient..so best of luck and may god bless us all!!!:loveya:
