  4. Hi guys! I was scheduled for tomorrow, but decided to just take it today. I stopped at 130-140 can't remember anymore, for 3 hrs. I went home did the pvt trick and good pop up! I can't believe it because this is my 2nd time, and got the ccard page on my first attempt. Pvt is the only thing keeping me sane while waiting for the official results.
  5. Hi! this will be my 2nd time, and i only did kaplan before ( complete course). I am now using la charity, saunders, kaplan strategies, little bit of exam cram. I feel i am more confident now. i study everyday for 5 hours only, since I have a baby. I hope we all pass...
  6. HI! can i join this group? I will be taking my exam on Sept. 2.
  7. Hi! I just found out 2 days ago that I am pregnant, apparently it's already 8 weeks. I am currently in my 2nd semester, and was told my estimated due date will be at the end of september, which will be the middle of my 3rd semester. My pregnancy wasn't planned at all, and I was shocked the most part because I gave up on trying to conceive a baby naturally. I am 29 and this is my 2nd child, and I couldn't be happier with this blessing. However, scary as it may be as I get bigger, I am determined to graduate with the rest of my class this May 2010. That is of course I need my friends and families support as I go through it. I think if you really are determined to graduate, while having the baby at the same time, it will be possible..but a lot of hard work. Honestly, I am really scared, but I know I can do it. Good luck!
  8. hello to all! Please help me with my case study. Here is the scenario: A patient has injured his hand at work, went to the ED with a co-worker. You examine his left hand and find a piece of a drill bit sticking out of the skin between the third and 4th knuckles. there is another puncture site about an inch below and toward the center of the hand. Bleeding is minimal. Pt is 41 years old, no significant medical history, and NKDA. His last tetorifice booster was 3 years ago. he is able to flex and extend the distal joints but not the proximal joints of the third and fourth fingers. provide the initial care for the pt's injury. 1. you examine pt. hand. what should you include in your initial assessment? and why? 2. you notice pt's wedding band and promptly ask him to remove it. why is this important? 3. pt ask you why he can't just pull the bit out and go home. how should you respond to his question. THESE ARE THE 3 QUESTIONS THAT I REALLY NEED HELP ON..THANKS!
  9. congratulations!! It seems that everyone who received the in state/out state tuition was selected for the scholarship. I did not get any email from them, so I guess pretty much i'm out in the running. I got an email today from M. Carrera, and she said that she have all the "list" of everyone who got selected. I wasn't in that list; however, she said i'm chosen as one of the alternates. The thing is: if it comes, then i'll be thankful for sure!. In my case, I think it's time for me to move on, and concentrate on my classes. Good luck to everyone!! Again, congratulations to all the awardees..
  10. I actually emailed the lady M. Carrera. I asked her about my status, and she told me that I wasn't in her list. So i'm like..BUMMER!! On the other hand, still keeping my hopes up, maybe, there could be other "case analyst" whose in charge of other students. Well you know...it's not October yet..so I'm still HOPING!! hehe!
  11. congratulations to everyone who got the scholarship..especially to Hillarypeace.. I did not get the email..yet :heartbeat:heartbeat to those of you who got it..did all of you got an email way back asking if the tuition is out of state/in state? thanks! good luck..
