HELLO, I NEED TO STAY POSITIVE! I WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT BEING ACCEPTED TO NS, UNTIL I START TALKING TO SEVERAL NEGATIVE NURSES. I WAS TOLD IT COULDN'T BE DONE, IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE.... I HAVE TO CONTINUE WORKING A FULL TIME JOB, WHILE IN NS, HAVE TWO WONDERFUL CHILDREN (8MOS & 9 YOA),AND A SUPPORTIVE HUSBAND. I KNOW THAT IT WILL BE HARD BUT IT IS DOABLE; RIGHT? ANY ADVICE? DO I NEED A LAP TOP? DO I NEED A PDA?

i think that you should go with the bsn program. it is what you really wanted and that should motivatation enough for you to take the long drive. i have a smiliar issue. i have to drive an hour to school as well but i realize that this is something that i really want. we can do it. good luck. keep me posted

That's great, i'm so happy for you. i am going thru the same thing. my family say they are happy for me but they don't seem to be. but im gona show them. i start in oct, im so excited. good luck in nursing school.
