Last semester it was everyone who had above 183. The nursing advisor said not as many people applied this time. However they also may not take 70 people like they did last semester. You will all see soon enough though :) If you have over 190 - then your in - as long as you have above a 2.5 GPA. I know a girl who had a 2.6 GPA who got in. So don't worry about the GPA as much.
I am in the RN program at JSCC. This semester the instructors told us to not have a job if at all possible. I realize this is not possible for everyone. However, it is a huge load. They also said for every one hour in class, you should study 3 hours. I hope this helps!
I live closer to CACC in Childersburg that JSCC (Shelby). I did not get into CACC (RN). I have applied there for 3 semesters I believe. I just sometimes wonder why I can get in other places but not at CACC. I currently go to school there, just be warned they do lose things as other post have said. Make sure you make copies of everything you give them!
I got accepted also at JSCC on the Shelby Campus for RN full time. My name is Autumn, and I am 20 years old. The only downside is JSCC is 55 miles one way from my home!
I also got in to JSCC. I will be attending full time at the Shelby campus for registered nursing. I had 186 points. I wonder how low the points were? Tiffany Lane told me they normally go down to 180.
