  1. They will ask you how you will manage your time & take care of yourself. How you handle setbacks. Why you want to be a psych NP. Future goals. It was about 30 minutes.
  2. Thank you so much for responding. Just wondering what your general thoughts are? Are you full or part time? Is the program doable while working full time?
  3. Can I email/message you somehow? I don't have the ability to send messages via allnurses for some reason. I would really appreciate it!
  4. I have applied for Spring 2022, how do you like it so far?
  5. Can anyone give me the 2 and 3 year breakdown as far as classes are concerned? Thanks!
  6. Can anyone give me insight into the U of R PMHNP program? I have applied for Spring 2022, and want to know what to expect. I have worked as a psych RN for 6 years (RN for 12 years total) and have a 18 month old. Has anyone gone through the program that can answer some questions for me, or are currently enrolled? Thanks!
  7. In 2004 - my mother passed away 4 weeks before classes started. It was HORRIBLE. I knew it would be a struggle but started the semester anyways. I wound up failing a class because I could not concentrate. I had to start over. BUT only YOU know your level of coping, maybe you can do it. Maybe you are stronger than I. Let your instructors know, they may be easier on you. Whatever you chose, good luck. Melissa:heartbeat
  8. I flunked my Med/Surg class by 1 point and got kicked out of my B.S.N. program in 2004. After 4 years of deciding, I finally have made the choice to go back to Nursing school and will start an R.N. Program in the Fall of 2008. I am very excited and these 4 years have given me clarity. I am really prepared now. I am glad I failed, because I was not ready 4 years ago, but I am now. It was a blessing in disguise!
