I need help in class
at the end of the ch does it have an outline or objectives? bc if it does, ive noticed with my instructors, thats where the majority of the questions are comin from. i wouldnt "read", the txts are too boring, just skim through each heading, and if there are lists, like bulllets read those, thts what i do, and i got a high 80 in my first semester of nursing.

Pharm advise anyone
i thought the math part was the way easiest part of pharm, i think remembering the meds and all their axn is the hardest part, bc theres a million of em. i think the easiest thing to do is do the reading b4 u even get to class, bc at least then u have some idea as to wat ur instructor is talkin abt, then ask questions, tons of them. i found this really cool thing that somebody had posted earlier for remembering meds: caine= local anesthetics cillin= antibiotics dine= anti-ulcer agents done= opiod analgesics ide= oral hypoglycemics iam= antianxiety agents micin= antibiotics nium= neuromuscular blocking agents olol= beta blockers ole= anti-fungal oxacin= antibiotics pam= antianxiety agents pril= ace inhibitors sone= steroids statin= antihyperlipidemics vir= antivirals zide= diuretics this is gonna help me ace my midterm tomorrow

Study/note taking tips
my nursing instructors actually gave us handouts of the PPT, and we just added on to that while she lectured, what kind of a learner are ya? bc tht will help determine how to take notes. if ur an audio, take a tape recorder and set it nxt to ur instructor, if ur a visual watch the PPTs if u have any, which u probably will, and reading in advance helps a lot too

help w/ nursing Dx for Pt :(
mm k, im not to sure what nursing dx i should use for my care plan. my Pt had hypoxia HTN. i was thinking ineffective tissue perfusion but idk wat i wat specifically it would be realted to: renal, cerebral, cardiopulmonoary, GI. she was on tele, Hx of pulmonary fibrosis, HTN, diabetes, TIA. she was on 2L of O2 via NC. she also had a renal doppler done today, and was loaded on tons of HTN meds...idk, im really frustrated and tired and cant think straight anymore
