Maybe you can find a Nursing Review course, one on one. But, don't let people discourage you. If nursing is what you want in life, don't give up. Maybe it's just not your time right now. Find a review course before you spend any more money, I'm sure it will help you. Pray and ask for guidance. Good luck and never give up on your dreams !!!!

Congrats !!!! That is wonderful, after all these years and now you finally passed the NCLEX. Yes, you are right, it wasn't your time. At least you decided to go back to your first love...nursing !! Studied and Prayed and ended with great results !!!!

What state are you in ? I know some LPN's and all they make is between 11.00 and 14.00 an hour. It does depend on what state you are in.

Where I went to college, we had to take medical terminology as a pre-req. It was a one credit course offered in two semesters. We had medical terminology I and II.

I used to work at a dry cleaners while in nursing school. When I would mention a customer to one of the other employees. Instead of me referring to him or her as the customer, I would always say "this Patient"

I understand what you are talking about, I have taken the exam several times and have not passed as of yet. But I refuse to give up. I spent too much time and effort in Nursing school to just give it up. I know and believe that we are going to pass it eventually with Gods help. We are meant to be Nurses and very good ones.

I also have the same book, I think it is an excellent book. although I failed the exam, I still am going to go back through my book and do more studying and answering questions.

The Hurst Review, you said that is online. What is the website for that ? Can I get the Kaplan Q from any bookstore ? Also, congratulations to you !!!!

I took my exam on Sept. 22 and I received my results today in the mail. Again, I did not pass. But, I am not going to give up. I also studied the book known as Exam Cram. It has good content and excellent questions. I decided that I am going to try Suzannes method also. Will you all please pray for me, so that this time when I do retake the exam that I will pass it. Thats good to be able to feel so confident. and all we know you probably passed. since you were not stressed and anxious but seemed to be totally relaxed. Is there anybody who took the test in Virginia and if so, how long does it take the results to be on the BON. VA does not participate in the quick results

I have my associates degree in Nursing, but I also have a Bachelors Degree in Behavior Health. I am seriously thinking about working as a Psychiatric Nurse. Although I don't have my nursing license yet. but I just took the exam on Sept. 22. Do you think this would be a good idea. I also thought and was told that it is best to start out on a Med-Surg unit.

I took the NCLEX exam yesterday. I prayed and had others to pray for me and with me. I have taken it a couple times before. I am believing God that this will be my time to receive my license. I am willing to pray for anyone that will be taking the NCLEX.
