  1. as many of you know or may not know itt- tech canton campus has a new rn program. i am one of the thirty who got accepted into the program and so far so good. it has been a few minor snags but that is to be expected with something new. i had read in a former post that other people were having a hard time getting credits to transfer and things like that but i am happy to say that i did not have any of those problems. i am interested to see the nclex-rn pass rating for people in other states because we follow the same curriculum but all in all i am pretty happy with the program. one of the pro's of the program is the time it takes to get through and not having to spend time on a waiting list. it is also a compact program so if ur an adult coming back to school the pre-reqs are included in the program. the instructors have also been very warm and helpful which makes me alot more comfortable.the con's so far is the :eek:price and the fact that your credits may not transfer to a major university but will transfer to somewhere like phoenix i've heard... it's all new but so far i am enjoying being apart of the first group! check out an info session... it may very well be for you!
  2. I am one of the top 30!!!! I am excited about the new experience! See U all in orientation tomm!!!!
  3. Hello all... I am considering moving to PA from Detroit, MI and I was wondering if anyone could give me the names of any good RN programs. I have looked at a few on the internet but I just was wondering about programs in areas that would be okay for a 21 yr old getting out on her own. I only have a few pre-reqs completed so I was wondering if anyone knew of any programs that included the pre-reqs?? Thanks for all of your feedback in advance!
  4. Can any of you tell me about the application process into the MCC nursing program... pre-reqs and all???? I looked on the website but I was kinda confused... I'm going to the information meeting next week but I am just wondering... o yea is A&P one class @ MCC???
  5. can anyone tell me how long the wait list is for MCC... I was on the website but I found it some what confusing :-( I also would like to know which pre-reqs need to be completed b4 applying??? Thanks a bunch for any info you can give me!!!
  6. I am kind of becoming discouraged because I am going into my second year of college and completing pre-req's for the nursing program but every where I read and everyone I talk to makes my chances of getting into a program so weak! I currantly attend wayne state... any suggestion on what I should do... I am becoming kind of down becuase I feel like I'm doing all of this for nothing!
  7. Is it true that Wayne State shows prefrence to students who take all pre-req's at Wayne State University when choosing students to get into their nursing program?
  8. I am applying to the nursing program at Wayne State in Michigan... I was wondering does it make sense to apply early while finishing with my pre-req's or apply when once I've completed my pre-req's??? I still have a few science classes to finish so I do not know how effective it would be to apply early... HELP!
  9. I have a few college credits and I want to finish my pre-reqs to get into a nursing program... should I try to attend a community college or university. Has anyone done the program at Davenport? I just need some general info on which steps to take. I know this is a decision I will have to eventually make on a personal note but any info about either or any MI program will be helpful thanks!
