  1. I havent noticed any issues personally. Right now we are at jeff campus, next semester we will be at shelby. They allowed us to vote and majority pick which campus. Hope that helps. Feel free to ask anytime - sorry its been awhile since I have checked back in here!
  2. I am finishing my first semester in the part-time program. This semester has been Tues and Thurs 5:30pm to 8:30pm. We dont always stay that late. Next semester is one class, but it is still 2 nights a week (one night for class and one night for lab) also about halfway through we will start clinicals. Thus far from what we have been told they are mostly on the weekend. if we have to take a weekday clinical then it will start at 4 pm. Maybe this will give you an idea of what the schedule is like and if its doable for you. Also, they only take students once a year for this program, so next entry will be next fall.
  3. Hey guys - I got a letter and denied because I am already in the night program - long story! Anyway, so I opened up another spot for the day program Jeff campus. Good Luck and Congrats!
  4. I am in my first semester of the night program at the main campus. I only go 2 nights a week. I am not sure what people have been hearing, but I personally haven't come up against any issues. We did change teachers but thats because they hired on. No biggie there. I am also a stay at home mom. I have 3 kids age 2,3,6. I was homeschooling my 6 year old but it got a little much with my own studies so we did put her into private school. I personally feel that if your kids are young the night might be the best option. The only problem is they only accept once a year for that program. Good luck to ya!
  5. I am in the part - time program. The last fall class cutoff pts were 183 and 184 - thats for the day and night programs. Good luck to you all awaiting. Get ready to put your life on hold and read and read and read!
  6. I loved A&P as well. Didnt care for the lecture side of Micro. I didnt feel like I got a whole lot out of the class, but I believe that was because of the professor. I would recommend....PM me for that - dont wanna post names out here.
  7. I thought that once we were listed as RN then we were to register, pay all that. Not sure though! I think our insurance will suffice.
  8. I dont think I will be bringing my laptop to class either. At least not at first. of course I can type faster than I write! LOL She said 90% on the calculations. Im ready for me book to get here too.
  9. I got it from best buy. I got the Gateway for $599. They also have a Dell for $499. I went for the gateway for the little extra speed. Those sales are until Saturday - check out their website. They also have MS office/student for $99. I prefer the main campus because I live 10 minutes from there.
  10. I decided against the Evolve after checking out the website. I have boughta ll my books brand new and it only cost me $220. I figure I know how to use an index to save $400 ! Even though I did buy a laptop last night. Good sales going on right now! The St. Vincents person must have talked before 5:30. I got there, at 5:25 and they had already started - I hope classes dont do that too! Jeez.
  11. The CC I was accepted into offers a part-time program. The classes and clinicals are nights and weekends. It will take 7 semesters to complete my RN. You could check around for this type of program possibly. Good Luck!
  12. I agree - thats just wrong. Seems like there should be something that could be done.
  13. The cutoffs were 183 for Part-time and Shelby and 182 for Jeff - If I recall correctly! Congrats!!
  14. In my letter it told me the Orientation date. I dont know if it is the same for everyone or not though. For me, I got into the part-time program. The orientation is July 15th at Jeff Campus.
  15. Yep - at least that is what we were told! Hope you made it!!
