The very last time, i did a review course (hurstreview.com) and i used saunders 3rd edition. so after i took the review course and learned the required info, i would answer ques from different nclex books to see if i was actually learning anything and i was. the review course helped me a lot, it was $350, but i feel like it was a good investment.

no. lpns have their license renewed every odd year and rn's every even year or you could double check with ur state board of nursing. but that is the way it is in ga.

I FINALLY PASSED MY NCLEX PN!!!!!!! THIS WAS MY 3RD ATTEMPT!! THE FIRST TWO TIMES, I HAD 205 QUESTIONS AND THIS TIME I HAD 85 AND PASSED!! 3RD TIME WAS THE CHARM!!! :yeah:

I WORK AS A STUDENT NURSE NOW AND RARELY SEE ANYTHING THAT I HAVE LEARNED IN SCHOOL.

Just because a person is "bool" smart and passes on the first try does NOT mean they are a good, competent nurse. period. I AGREE WITH WHAT YOU GUYS ARE SAYING. I TOO FEEL LIKE THE NCLEX GRADE SYSTEM IS ?????. WHERE I WORK NOW (IN A HOSPITAL) IF THE BON COULD JUST REVIEW SOME OF THE NURSES THEY HAVE GIVEN LICENSES TO B/C THEY ANSWERED QUES A CERTAIN WAY AND WHAT THEY HAVE DONE, THAT HAS JUST NOT HIT THE FAN B/C OF ADMINISTRATORS ETC., CONSULTING WITH THE FAMILY TO AVOID LAWSUITS, THEY MAY TAKE EM BACK!! FROM WHAT I WAS TOLD, THE NCLEX QUESTIONS YOU AS IF YOU WERE A NURSE WITH TWO WEEKS EXP. TO ME U COULD NEVER ANSWER ENOUGH QUESTIONS A CERTAIN WAY TO KNOW IF YOU WILL BE COMPETENT IN EVERY SITUATION.

i believe results are posted 7 days a week. my friend received her results on Sat, so i dont see a difference for Sun.

those are the only ones i have heard of. i am new to this forum, but mostly everyone talks about saunders.

I Am New To The Forum And I Have Heard Good Comments About Suzanne's Plan Too. I Hope It Works For Me (i Just Emailed Her), It Will Be My Second Attempt.
