Someone in my charts....
This is true. I work in a military hospital and I'm not even allowed to access my own profile as I was military and a dependent wife for about 20 years altogether. I could fired for HIPPA violation even though it's my private information.

7/30 This week, I learned Deanna Troi sucks
Is it really bigger on the inside or is that just a myth? QUOTE=ixchel;9136447]I'm putting my money on a tick being in there. Bug extraction should happen easily with a flush, except an attached tick. Damn, that sucks. Sent from my TARDIS using Tapatalk

Nursing is the Biggest Mistake of My Life
It's probably not drama but the anxiety of nursing school. I put extra weight on myself when reality I just need to breath and keep moving forward.

African American in San Antonio
Hi I currently live in Cibolo, Tx just north of San Antonio. We have a lot of military with a larger population of AA. I'm surprised at the low percentage I guess directly in San Antonio. So especially with the military it is a large melting pot and accepting area. Depending on where you're working my area may be a little far out for you. I think you will like San Antonio it is pretty big and I'm sure you'll find an area and be happy.

Being Treated Poorly by an RN
I worked with a great doctor, if we were busy he'd grab the patient do their vital signs and appointment.

Stupid things that nurses say
That happened to my husband but in the girl's defense she wasn't looking directly at us and my daughter and I are the same height.

Americans continue to know very little about the Indian....a Professor's grief--Video
Don't give up. I am 25% Native American and I know nothing about my heritage. I hope to one day learn about my ancestory and pass it on to my children. I think it's sad that I have only met one 100% Native American. Please continue what you are doing, Native Americans should not be forgotten and their legacy should live on.

Medical Advice
I know the feeling. I had a friend who was only a medical office assistant and people who knew her, would ask her medical questions.
