  1. I actually used the College Network guides to test out of three classes I needed for my RN-BSN from Regis. I don't know if I would have used them if I had a lot of pre-reqs to take, but it did work well for me for the few I was missing (IMHO). I loved the online program from Regis. It took me 2 years going 1/2 time. I just graduated in August . I went part time because I was working full time M-F. It was not an easy program just because it was online. It is a well established university and expects a lot in it's classes. The classes are in 8 week increments. You will probably need to spent 15-20 hours a week studying :typing. I am glad I did it. I am a better nurse and see things much differently than when I began the program. If you are up for the challenge, I encourage the Regis program. I am taking a break and then continuing my MSN through them as well. Hope this helps!:)
  2. Under "Do you want to discuss any issues with the nurse" a parent wrote "my son has a bad attitude problem!" Referred her to the principal.....
  3. Hi from Myrtle Beach! Just want to wish you a warm Southern welcome:cheers:
  4. And the teachers........goodness - they send you stupid stuff, second guess you, and think all you have to do is sit there and wait for them to send the kids they get tired of having in class. Yes, I sit around a lot. I am one of the first people on campus to arrive, I have no free period, I eat lunch at my desk while inputting info into the computer, and all of the teachers cars are gone when I pull out of the parking lot. You and I sound very much alike! I love my job, but my principal definately favors her teachers over the nurse. She has told me not to see as many children. I guess she thinks I am knocking on classroom doors in my spare time (and my lunch period) so I can have visitors! So, just hang in there...a very wise friend gave me good advise: "Don't let others steal your joy."
  5. Cheers to your Mom for calling the nurse out on her behavior! Hope she is doing well. MB

I like the Zebra's with the little skinny point. I have a long name so I need to maximize my signing space :)
  7. I have been using TCN supplies and have had no problems so far. I was aware that they did study guides before signing up. I only needed 2 guides to complete my co-requisites for my BSN program at a "real college." I work full time and did not want to spend the time chasing down study guides or test materials and I did not want to sit in class! The College Network has been fine in my situation. I think you just have to research things thoroughly before signing up for anything. Just my $0.02 :)
