Hi everyone, it's amazing how this thread has been going strong since 2012!!!!!! I'm interested in working for the VA. I'm currently in the early stage where the posting closed on 5/19/17 and I received an email on 5/26/17 saying I was "referred" to the selecting official for consideration. I'm praying that this is a good sign and that I get called for an interview soon!!!!! P.S. All of your posts have been very helpful in knowing how this process goes.

I read alot of the post asking about finding jobs in Texas. Im from Chicago with hopes of eventually moving to Dallas, but i'm skeptical with all the post about having a hard time finding lobs. Is it just new grads having problems or what. Im an Rn with experience. I was just wondering what is really the deal? Can someone please inform me?
