Hello, I graduated form Holy Name Hospital School of Nursing in 2005. I don't know anything about Bayonne Hospital's Nursing School. I can say however that I recieved a really excellent experience at HNH. About the job placement, many of my class mates began working at the hospital as unit clerks and nursing assistants and then easily transfered to a nursing position once they graduated. In fact the hospital administation met with our class to discuss the options of employment during nursing school and after graduation. There is also a Student Nurse extern program there for the summer, after you have completed your first year. I ended up working somewhere else after graduation, but I am now going back to Holy Name. It's a great school, you work very hard, but I believe you will come out with a solid foundation to start your nursing career if you go there. About 3 years ago I know that the starting salary was between $27 and 29 per hour, but it may have changed since then. They also offer shift differentials, and salary increases if you become certified in your area of nursing. Good Luck!! :nuke:
