Questions on the TEAS test
Know the math conversions but its basic, be up to date on your spelling, its whats been holding me back, I have a BA in Journalism graduated top of my class thanks to spell check and a dictonary, my science skills are way above standard and my math is above but my low reading and spelling scores hold me back. I understand the need to weed out those not fluent in english but it seems silly to have a nursing shortage and not find a better way to evaluate people.

Affording pre-reqs and nursing school
As long as the school is accredited there should not be an issue with them accepting your pre reqs and the credits. I'm a transfer to UDC this semester for the RN program and I still need to take 2 more classes before I can apply to their program. So far I have been bumped around by their staff but from what I have heard their program seems to be good and hospitals don't complain about their students so I would imagine their pre reqs can't be that bad. I was at Montgomery College before and I was very satisfied with their classes and teachers but I had to switch to UDC for their RN program becuase MC's program is hard to get into and they have a weird transfer credit acceptance policy. Just call the department of the class that you want to take at the school you want to to your accel BSN at and make sure you know what the equiv class at UDC is and make sure they accept it. Good Luck

starting LVN school in Dallas!
I found out about my test scores at Concord the day I took my exam, it was really easy just make sure you brush up on division. I will start the nights and weekends program in October. It is expensive but I was really impressed with the school. You may want to try and see if you can join a credit union they have very low rate loans. Good luck!

TEAS Test
I took it in VA, it was the same as the prep book. Just remember they don't let you use a calculator if you are taking the actual test, as opposed to some schools that just use some sections and do let you use a calculator, my results were very diffrent for each. Good luck!
