  1. I have 1 year of experience as an orthopedic surgical NP. I was thinking about going into one of the military branches and doing primary care any suggestions as to which branch or has anyone gone in as an already practicing ARNP? I am a 35 yo female.
  2. Has anyone worked for the FL medical staffing? They staff the HCA hospitals in Tampa/ St. Pete area. I am moving to the area next week and they have told me they could keep me busy.
  3. UMASS actually has a new graduate position posted on their website! Their new grads start at 37/hr per diem.
  4. I am at UMASS med in the GEP program. They are talking about increasing their GRE requirement to a minimum of 1000 to interview (It used to be 800). :uhoh21:
  5. i actually had my undergrad in athletic training from ucf. i applied to the usf program and was not accepted because even though i had a 3.89 in my program, my overall was only 3.4 because i too screwed around the first 2 years. i am currently a student at umass in their graduate entry program. i think the issues that the above posts had with usf are issues you find at every school. we feel the same way about the program here and the faculty. i however am paying 30,000 a year for tuition. usf definately would be alot cheaper. fortunately for you, you have classes to take still and can get your gpa up. i believe that everything happens the way it should and for some reason i was supposed to end up here. (i sat for my nclex yesterday and have less than 2 years to go til my aprn) as far as age, i am 32 and not the oldest in my classes. i think having some life experience definately helps! good luck to you in whatever you decide to do!
  6. I am a student at UMASS. I sat for my exam yesterday...no results yet. I love this site!
  7. Nystagmus can also be caused by certain medications and medical conditions. I had an albino client in a long term facility and nystagmus was her baseline. Was it something acute in this patient?
