I took my NCLEX on 3/28 I had tons of SATA, priority questions, maternity and peds, a few psych questions as well but no math. I didn't know what to do when the screen went blue after clicking next on question 75. I ran home to do the PVT trick and I did it for 2 days with the "good pop up" LOW AND BEHOLD I PASSED.... I was sooo excited still on cloud 9

I just graduated from cochran in January. It was a good school you will learn alot if you put the effort in. Med surg will be your hardest yr and psych is a lil tricky. Hope that helps

Hostos was not the school for me. The program wasn't as serious as I was and it wasn't what you know that got you in the program. It was who you know.

That can very well be the case. Things dont move as quickly as I thought so time and patience.And make lots of calls

What class to you have left to take? I had all my pre reqs except chemistry when I finished the spring semester. I asked if I took it in the summer could I get in. I was told all pre reqs have to be done by spring semester end. I was also aware of students taking A&P in the summer because they failed it the first go round to get in....That shows you how twisted things are. I got over it and left going to a private nursing school now. You pay a little more but you cant put a price on piece of mind. I wish you all the luck...

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I was up there today for my interview. I know the documentation is very important. I had everything but my H.S transcript was delayed and I waited almost a month for an interview for that reason. My test were great and so were my grades but my h.s transcript wasnt in no interview. I think you should not give up so easily. get the transcript. u may need it again one day.

Funny you say that I did the same thing running around for january and now they tell me all the seats are filled my admission would be for september now...SO SAD...they think people really have time to play games with their future..Well I dont. I think I will stay in the school I currently attend and pray for admittance there.

I took the paperwork and I will test and then I guess wait for the interview. Taking chemistry now so I am also awaiting that grade. I had the TEAS book for awhile paced myself so that cramming wasn't an option. Thanks for the advice. Are you guys currently enrolled? How are you doing so far?

Hey I am suppose to start Jan '09 a little nervous but I can't wait. all my pre reqs are out of the way. What is the first semester like? any advice? taking my TEAS next week. Im ready. where are the clinicals done?

USE THE WEBSITE. I passed a&p I and II with A's using the website as my bible. I found it very interesing I loved the lab. I guess this is the field for me.

Will start Queensborough 9/08 I did most of my pre-reqs at Hostos community college. All but microbiology A's in all so they took me on the spot clinicals begin for me in january..I can't wait.....Any Advice????

Going to Queensborough after a year @ Hostos Hopefully I will finish 12/09 couldn't walk into the clinicals for 9/08 but if I could I would be done 6/09...

I was a hostos student and I left after my second semester. They are not a school that plays by the rules (not what you know but who) I was an honor student missing chemistry which I was going to take in the summer and they want me to wait another year to get in the program. However less desirable students were chosen and was allowed to make up classes in summer class because they made friends with office staff while doing workstudy....Don't waste your time try a better college if you can. My advice you dont have to take it. feel free to ask me any questions I will help you if I can.

I was just accepted to Queensborough on the wait list for Beth israel also..I was not able to walk through the door and start clinicals but I can start 1/2009. I was told my grades are good and I have a great chance of getting in for spring 09 so I will stick with it.But a back up plan is in order.. Good luck
