I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too. Yes this is the first time I have applied to a nursing program. I applied to the 3 mentioned above and NYU. I also have a Bachelor's degree in another dicipline (don't know if that makes a difference or not). Good Luck.

I think that KCC requires you to do a semester at their school before you can apply. I also think they require you to take a certain math class there that apparently is not equivalent to any math class at any other school. That is why I didn't apply. I read on this site that LICH is disorganized (could explain why you have no letter yet). I think your nln score was good and your GPA is good too. All of these programs are so competitive, but I encourage you to keep applying and don't get discouraged. :)

No that's not the reason because I mailed in my application very close to the deadline and I was interviewed on June 4th. The interviewer told me when the admissions committee was meeting next and that I should hear from them shortly after that. They met on June 12 and I got the letter on the 25th which said that I needed to send in my $500 deposit by the 26th (which I thought was crazy). 70 people on the waiting list is crazy. Did you finish all your prerequisites? For QCC you don't have to be a registered student to apply but they do accept their students first. I recommend whatever classes you are taking that you get A's in them and you should be good.

If you are on the waiting list you should call them and find out how many other people are on the waiting list. You should also find out where you stand on the list. I was accepted but I declined the seat because I decided to go with Queensboro CC. I had a composite score of 86 on the nln and a 3.8 GPA. When was your interview?

Ms. Gallo told me last week that the deadline for student deposits was Thurs. (7/3). She said that there are no seats available unless someone decided not to put in there deposit. At this point I'm starting to think no one has declined their spot. I actually accepted a seat at Queensboro CC already (6/24), which from what I hear is also a great choice.

I have decided to go with Queensborough. I was accepted for the evening program and I actually chose NYHQ as my clinical site. After hearing what you've said it seems I've made a good choice. Thank you so much.

Hey I'm new to this site. I also applied to Beth Israel and got waitlisted. When I handed in the form I was told that only 6 of the 15 on the waiting list still wanted to be considered (That was on June 20th). Beth israel was also my first choice.
