I wonder why you would avoid realizing your dream because of competition. So you might get your ego bruised a little IF you're turned down but if you truly love it you'll continue to apply until you accomplishh what you want. Also I agree, don't post your full name.

Thanks ya'll, this makes me feel so much better. I still did what I had to do even though the sight was terrible and he was kicking and screaming. I was thinking for a while that this might mean that I might not make it as a nurse....LOL.

Okay well my newborn got a circumcision yesterday and any time i change the gauze it bleeds. Well of course he is swollen and bruised. Today hubby and i were changing the bandages and we both walked away feeling a bit sick....I wonder if that is something you can get used to....

Thank you :) I have two other children as well. I was still in the process of getting my Criminal Justice degree when I had my son so I know pressure and frustration LOL. Although all of my classes were online and I will be sitting in for A&P so it'll be different. My class is from 8:30 - 3:00, my friend is sure that it'll be hell even though I might like the break.

I am actually taking a 60 day break from classes because I just had my son. I take psychology in August along with A&PI.

No chemistry yet....

I don't know if this thread has been started but....I thought I would have to take biology I this fall before I could take A&PI but as it turns out I was just given bad information. Okay so I have been copying links that others have been posting and I am going to get A&P for dummies (again), is there anything else I can do? Also anyone want to be study buddies? Thanks!

Ohhh, I just found out that I won't have to take biology I so I guess I'll be taking A&PI instead!

I am taking it in June which is the first part of the two summer sessions. I too am nervous about the short amount of time I have to learn this stuff so I've had Anatomy and Physiology for dummies checked out.

Oddly it was only grammar, math, and reading comprehension. a&p would have most definitely kicked my butt as I haven't taken it yet (I will be in June).

I have been planning to attend Kingwood College for the Nursing program until...today! LOL. I had to drive an hour one way due to traffic. By the time I got home from taking my Hesi I was so tired. Anyhow if push comes to shove I would definitely attend this program BUT I found that Houston Community College offers the same program and it's closer. So anyhow if anyone knows anything about this program I would appreciate a little insight :)

What about the grammar? Is it in the study guide?

They say it's just Math, Reading Comprehension, and grammar......Have they snuck any other subject in? Is it hard? Thanks!!!
