oh by the way 2bnurse4life4ever, it seems that a lot of people get frustrated with the questions... it' how you looked at it "half-full or half empty". the videos also identified what type of questions that will get you pass the nclex. the harder the questions, the more i was smiling because it means i was doing something right. by the time i was done, i was giggling. you want the hard questions to show up. the videos also explained that. half full or half empty.

Apology about" How to think..." there is none, but the message was in the videos you already watched... differentiate NCLEX test and college test... just follow or be ahead of the course plan. I Think it wants you to read the first 3 chapters or so. It explains everything about the review. Looks like you're already ahead of the ballgame. All videos are all in the same page, just have to play with the selections on top of the page. I was just getting just about the same scores you got. Check other threads regarding this topic. Hope I do not give false hopes, like I said, this was what worked for me. I wished I could had done more prep. What matters now is I passed. Have fun, get plenty of sleep.

They got all tricks about interpreting the exam. What I looked closely during the exam was " When to intervene", What to do first, etc, etc... this were all the mistakes I made while answering the Qbank. So when I took the exam, I was carefull not to make the same mistakes. There's plenty of good advice out there, but what save the day for me was "How to think like the NCLEX", the opening videos (Kaplan) identified all this. I was only able to watch the videos I was weak in... Psch, meds, and some health promotions... I was getting a lot of naps and sleeps days before the exam (unheard of for me), that is why I was able to recall stuff from Patho and other classes. Yes, the Qbank was hard but it made me feel at home while doing the NCLEX. When stuck with a Qbank you don't know (which happened most of the time for me) I tried thinking thru it. tomiw73, i prayed that i will not be the first to post "failed" after getting that pop-up. when i found out i poassed, i did say it was true "in my case". like the nclex, i never assumed anything until it's a done deal. i hope it would be true for you too. for people that are anxious for information, there's enough info if we just back thread. :typingit will keep you busy and pre-occupied. this was true in my case. so far, nobody had said it was "false". keep the spirit.

Vue also has the quick results, mine previosly says " Results not available" to "Results available" to this effect. I paid $7 and change. This happened 47 hours and 45 minutes after the exam start. BON posting will just be a formality next week.

Just woke up forgettting to eat dinner! wow now I'm hungry like hell. 4 more hours.

I guess I cannot say that my technique worked as I'm also waiting for results. I agree with Nurse4life4ever. I was glad I did the Kaplan Qbank. It was like doing the Qbank while doing the NCLX exam. Only thing was that I was just progressing 30 questions per hour. I treated every questions like it was the last questions (just not sure this was the way to go) I prepared for the long haul but was cut short midpoint with a priori question. Tommorow is my 48th hour.

I know when I got to 76, I was relieved that it was still throwing questions to me. If it had stopped at 75, I knew I would had failed. The more questions, the more relieved I was. As the questions just got more complicated, more prioritizations, SATA's the faster I was processing the questions. 120 questions just when I was about to hit 3hours and then the Gray... blue screen... then the survey. I was smiling all the way to my car. Hopefully I got the exam. update tommorow to all the future nurses "waiting" during the weekend:smokin:

48 hours for me tommorow. Still getting the pop-up since yesterday after changing yes/no questions. So far no body has said they failed with a pop-up. I will update everybody pass or fail.

Took the exam yesterday and stopped at 120 with 2:56 hours! It was like molasses in winter! Prioritization was my last question. Less than 24 hours later, I tried the "Pearson view trick", and won't let me go past the registration and got the "Our record indicates that you recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." So far, from the old post this looks good. People might get ****** with this same issue. Unfortunately, this is the only thing I can do before I get my quick results.:nuke:

I have to read Kaplan questions long and hard compared to the Saunder's comprehensive. Just averaging 55% and has partly listened to their lessons. I need to stay focus on this lessons and the course book.
