  1. Congradulations! I am glad you made it past the instrutor. I had the same experiance with an CI while in the BSN at Grand Canon Univ. All the other students spoke up for me to the head instructor. I was told they always back CI or they would have a hard time finding CI's. At the end of the semester I endded up quitting. I am now doing my LPN. I glad you did not give up.
  2. As a nursing student I just want to thank you for sharing this. I learn so much from all the nurses at allnurses.com.. I take several lessons with me from this for my first days on the floor (when I finaly graduate ~will it ever happen?) Thank you.
  3. How long is the wait normally? I am about to apply to Excelsier online, and I did not know that there is a wait time to test.
  4. I am a level two student in a fast tract program. My classmates passed meds a whole six weeeks before me. It was humbling. One of the other students was also falling behind. We went to the dean and expressed our concern and found that help was available. I am now passing meds and the other student has more help. Some students say we are to slow to remain in school. I use the Q-Tip method to deal; Q=quit, T=taking, I=it, P= personally. I think we get so competatie to gain a seat that it is hard to change modes and help each other. I found a student that neeed help that I could provide, she found a student who needs help she can give, and now ten of us are working to make sure not one more washes out! Kindness is contagious! Hang in their. You have book smarts and will pick up clinicals in time, If you have a heart for nursing stick it out. You don't have to be with that student after boards!
  5. I grad in 2009 and have planning to move to Hawaii as a new grad, are there really no jobs What Island are you on? Please share more of your experiances.
