  1. Hi! I have the same problem, I'm in my first year of nursing about seven months. I lack confidence in my skills, and abilities. I get really nervous when something is going wrong with one of my patients. Any advice will be appreciated. thanks sosweet
  2. I am a new nurse I work in ltc facility (6 months) and i am amazed of how rude some of my cna's are. They don't want to be told what to do, they don't like to make rounds, answer call lights. I work the night shift and I find myself doing they job and as well as mine. One day I asked one of them to make sure she answers the call lights and do her round. She went around spreading a bunch of lies to her fellow workers about me. any advice would be greatly appreciated. I love my job, but the cna's makes it frustated for me.
  3. Michelle126 you are so right. I work night and I find myself busy throughout the night. On the unit where i work most of the residents are alert and oriented and they can be very demanding at night. Also, the ones that confused have to be monitored closely to prevent falls. I stay pretty busy through the night. sosweet07
