I put my app in Aug 2007 applied for BNFP in Aug 2007 got selected in November 2007 to start March 2008 cohort -- I began my pre-reqs in 2004--- so depending on your experience you have now and what classes you have completed .. 15. 6:45- 3:30 pm makes for a very very long day on wednesday and thursday.. but at least getting there we will beat the traffic rush.. I hope leaving at like 5:45 in the morning.. I have never heard of a class at college being that early.
  16. give 2 reasons you would like to work for banner health there are many reasons why i have chosen banner, one being i have interacted with other banner employees in my current position that are friendly and very knowledge in what they are doing. this shows me banner takes the time to train their employees which creates a positive, productive work environment and helps to retain valued employees. another reason is the opportunities banner has, the many different hospitals in your network which would allow me room for advancement throughout the years with your company.
  17. i rcvd this email from asu nursing program thank you for your interest in arizona state university 's college of nursing & healthcare innovation bachelor of science program. the best way to look at our program is to have an evaluation completed by one of our advisors. we would need to see a copy of your unofficial transcript, including credit hours and grades. please send an unofficial copy of all your college transcripts via fax (602.496.0705) and then call our office at 602.496.0888 to schedule an appointment. we have appointments available at downtown phoenix campus, west campus and polytechnic campus. at this appointment, our advisor can discuss what courses you have completed and what you still need to do in order to apply to our program. admission to our program is competitive. admission is based on a 7 point scale, and all applicants are rank ordered based on this scale. the 7 points are comprised of 4 points for a select gpa (this is the 13 courses applied with); 2 points for the net (nurse entrance test) where reading and math skills are evaluated; and 1 point for a hand written essay. the average select gpa is typically a 3.5 and above. over the last few semesters, we have received over 350 applications, and we have between 140-160 seats available depending on the semester applied for. qualified students that do not receive admission to the program are not put on a waiting list, but instead, are encouraged to reapply the following semester. since our new program booklets are not yet available, i have provided some links to our website that may be of interest: [color=#003399]frequently asked questions [color=#003399]tuition [color=#003399]campus options [color=#003399] [color=#003399]academic advising [color=#003399]applying to the program [color=#003399]program of study [color=#003399] [color=#003399]transfer students
  18. DId you see that they finally have our schedules listed in Gateway and it is as I thought before Nursing Process and Critical Thinking I Monday and Tuesday 9:00am -11:20am (3/17- 6/20/08) Pharmacology and Medication Admin I Monday and Tuesday 12:30pm -3:20pm (3/17- 6/20/08) Nursing Sciente I Wednesday and Thursday 6:45am -3:15pm (3/13 to 6/22/08) So do we start class the same day as orientation I wonder.. ?? hmmh.
  19. I cant believe how the have changed everything to co-reqs.. that is soo lucky for some.. But dont ya think that is going to make the waiting list so much longer for everyone?
  20. I took Psy 101 online at Phoenix College and rcvd a A... its just a class that requires some reading and all test are online and you can use your notes. I took it along with Bio 201 also ..
  21. Now what are the pre-reqs???? I remember the last time they changed the pre-reqs.. I had already completed like 5 classes that were no longer a pre-req or required by the time I applied.. how frustrating that was.. I could have already had all this done... but Its good for the new people coming along applying for the RN program and makes it easier for them to get on that long list.. boy that list is going to end up being 2-3 yrs long if they make the pre-reqs shorter.. Dont ya think? Congrats on applying.. hope you get in soon
  22. and the uniforms arent part of what Banner pays for. it says books, supplies and tuition.
  23. You started the same time but are doing 2 different things. Do they breakup the 30 students in the class?
  24. So I take it you are both different cohorts.... Azscot you are heading to block 2 correct?? what block are you heading in cursed irishman.??
  25. How much do the uniforms run? so we wont start class the day of orientation. Darn.. guess im excited to start..LOL ... I hear lots of reading.. and what do you like better long term are clinicals or acute care? do you go directly to clinicals or to class then clinicals? do you get to choose from a few or do you just buddy up?
