  1. thanks for the info. im taking my exam on thursday(tomorrow, technically). this will be my second time to take the test. i only did kaplan this time and i do hope i pass nclex. my scores for the question trainer were within 60-65%. i hope that is enough. i feel tired these couple of days coz i've been pushing myself to study evem harder. i'm planning to just rest the whole day today. please pray for those of us who are still gonna be taking the xam.
  2. im taking my second try this thursday. this couple of days, iv been performing poorly on my kaplan qbank. i was doing well above 60% before. lately, im within 50 and 60%. i dont know whats happening to me. i dont feel that anxious at all, the poor performance suddenly started two days ago. i dont know what to do.
  3. i also used ncsbn review on my first take and i did not pass. i hope ypu're right about kaplan coz thats what im using now for my second take. i just finished the online videos today. i'll start with the questions up until my exam date on the end of january. i didnt really read all of the stuff on ncsbn coz it looked like a lot of information. instead, i just did all the questions. and yeah, the questions on the actual were very much different from the ncsbn review. it really sucks to not pass. i hope it would be better this time around.
  4. thanks. i've been checking the schedules since december and they're all 8am. anyway, i'll try to check these days if there are vacancies in the afternoons.
  5. as you can see, i'm a november failure. i am going to take the nclex for the 2nd time on january 31. btw, i checked 3 exam centers and the test times are all set at 8 in the morning. how come there are no afternoon exams anymore? anyway, i am gonna test soon. good luck to all of us!!!!
  6. any news or rumors when or if it will ever be lifted on 2008?
  7. thank you guys, for the encouragement. im currently trying to process the stuff i need so i can take the exam again. i dont feel like studying yet. but i guess i need to. edit: just called NY BON, i guess i just have to pay pearson for the $200, call back to NY BON and ask to be made eligible, and i have 45 days to wait for the att. no need to reapply or resend form1 or pay for reapplication.
  8. thanks for the welcome and for the info. yeah, i'm trying to consider doing suzzane's plan, but i'm finding it hard to read through saunders again. the waiting time for retesting in NY state is 45 days right?
  9. got my online unofficial results yesterday, and i failed. i got so depressed. i just did a self-study with the learningext.com review for 3weeks, and i'd like to say that the questions on the actual are really much different from those on books or reviewers. you really need to know the concepts. i guess i would have to do the test all over again. maybe i'll take it on january or february, if i can. i'm thinking of enrolling in kaplan, with the classroom review. i have the feuer cd's, i'll try to finish those, too. i realy hope i'd pass the second time around. oh, btw, how do we apply for a retest? do we need to start from the beginning? and how long would it take for me to take the exam again? im applying for the NY state licensure.
