What does you contract specify about vacation utilization? If they were to cancel your vacation based on you giving notice that would be seem to be a decision made by the employer in bad faith.

If you want to practice as an NP in an ICU or in a hospital setting you definitely need to have an acute care specialty certification. However, if you want to practice outside of the hospital and in a rural setting then FNP is the route to go.

There is no way I would work a 1:75 ratio of an assignment. What if something happens? You have to protect your license. Especially as a new grad.

The issue of possible drug seeking aside. I likely would not cover for anybody like that again.

Music is very relaxing in the right setting. I personally have no problems with it, but I can see how you could be concerned.

Something is better then nothing. I would take the job with a good that's going to make that 1 or 2 years of experience seem easy. You have to start somewhere. Good luck!!!

You're right, having too many SI/depression questionnaires is not necessarily a good thing sometimes. Unfortunately though this is done due to joint commission requirements, which are pretty strict.

The best course of action would be to follow the state's Good Samaritan act

Employers won't see it as a big deal that you quit the CNA job, as long you left on good terms. Also, the quality of work is probably pretty important too. If you're a new grad special nursing residency programs are an amazing way to get your foot in the door.
