  1. I'm an 1984 KCMA ADN nursing grad and have applied for the online RN to BSN program. Still waiting to hear from them but glad to hear such good things about the school. It was hard back then but, looking back, the best decision I ever made.
  2. I'm currently applying to JU. Would you recommend it? Is it doable...I work full-time nights and hopefully have all or close to all the requirements to enable me to just take the bsn component. Thanks for your input.
  3. Anyone work for Access Nurses travel company? If so, would be interested in your experience with them. Thanks!! I've been working with one of the top 10 by Hypodermic Highway's ratings and it's been a good company but they don't seem to have very many contracts in cities/areas where I would think there should be...and have known other travelers who've gone to those places.
  4. Thanks for all the advice for NC. I was a traveler years ago and ended up staying 15 years at the last hospital in which I traveled in Maryland. Trying it once more, going to be at Carolinas Medical Center, in the ICU's (Charlotte). I'm so hoping it goes well...but always keep an open mind, look, listen and learn their ways. How many of you do the tax advantage? Does it work for you? How do you balance having a primary residence and being away traveling?
  5. Hi NC. I'm an ICU RN from PA starting a travel assignment in Charlotte next week. Crossing my fingers and everything else that it'll be a good job with good people.
