  1. WOW a 100%. AT my BSN program we had to get a 90% or better and its also a pass or fail, and we had three chances.
  2. I don't know what area you live in. But alot of 2 yr colleges have long waiting lists that you could be on for 2 years before you get it and you have to apply 1 year in advanse. I am in my junior year of a BSN program its alot more expensive buy worth it. I spent two years at a community college and finished all 70 credits. I was only able to do that by taking summer classes and over christmas brake. At the University they have no waiting lists as soon as your in your in and in two years I graduate. It would have taken me exactly four years at a community college because I would have had to apply by Dec 06 to get in Sep 07 and I would have the in between time to do nothing since I would have already completed their pre-reqs which is only 30 credits. So I took extra classes and made it. Keep in mind that a BSN program is douple the pre-reqs and double the nursing credits. Some Universities like LaSalle have a part time evening and weekend program. Hope it helps.
  3. All I can say is follow your heart and try your best because nursing school is hard. I transfered into BSN program with a 3.5 on my pre reqs and in my first semester I got a 2.8. Usually first semester is the hardest so I am hoping that I will do better this spring. Good Luck to you.
  4. Oh sorry the website was not mentioned and I am not sure If I can advertise it. So just do your research online, you will find it. Also on that website you can compare all the Littman stethoscopes and how they rate. Hope that Helps
  5. Hi, I have a Littman Cardiology III and I love it. I am a junior nursing student. So far no one tried to take it. If you buy it on the website mentioned above you can save $100 compared to stores. Good Luck
  6. I started my pre-reqs at age 21, when I graduated in May 2009 I will be almost 25.
  7. When I hopefully graduate I will be 24 yo.
  8. No I don't know anyone who is attending Holy family University. I also don't know anything about there loans or grants. As soon as I got the list of classes that I have to take and it would have taken be half a year longer, I changed my mind.
  9. Hi, I got accepted to Holy Family last Fall. The reason I am not attending it is because they wanted to take some other classes that other universitys dont require, they also wanted me to start there in the spring and would not let me finish all of my pre-recs at the community college. The extra classes they wanted me to take were 2 or 3 nursing classes before the junior year and you have to do them in order. I would have started the nursing program in Spring 2008 instead of Fall 2007, and its more expensive. Instead I finished 70 credits at the community college and currently am attending La Salle University. I love everything about this program and would not do anything differently. At la Salle I got alot of scholarships a 5500 loan and had to pay 2000 for the year in tuition. Hope it helped.
  10. ooouuuuccchhhhhhh! sounds like alot of the practice on each other must have hurt. but you don't have to expose yourself in any way do you? like practice the embarassing procedures on each other??

  15. First I'd like to say Hi, since I am new. I am starting at La Salle BSN program Fall07. I don't think that they have a waiting list. I was told that they have room you just have to meet their requirements and deadlines. Is there anyone else starting this Fall?
