  1. Hi! Just want to share... I took mine last 09.11.2018 at Pasadena, CA. Tried the PVT after an hour of finishing the exam and got the good pop up. After 24 hrs, I tried the PVT again and got the same result. 30 mins ago, 36 hrs after the exam, the BRN CA website posted my license no. Thank you, God! Stay positive. Be confident. Don't forget to pray. Good luck. =)
  2. Hi. I took mine last Tuesday, 09.11.2018. Tried the PVT after an hour of finishing the exam and got the good pop up. Tried checking again after 24 hrs, and got the same result. 30 mins. ago, 36 hrs after I took the exam, the BRN CA website posted my license no. I couldn't be any happier. Thank you, God!!! 3. Hi! I also applied at different schools within the LACCD for Fall 2016. According to them, they will release the acceptance letters by mid-May. So far, I only heard from LATTC. I got accepted! (I'll be starting next month.) Still, I would like to know the result from LACC, LAHC, Pierce and LASC. Hehe... Good luck!
  4. I'm also interested in this school but I'm not sure if it's accredited at B.O.N California. I'm still puzzled to which school will I attend to. I'm an LVN for more than 2 years now and planning to go back home (Philippine) for bachelor's degree or even associate if there's any. Any recommendations guys?
  5. I paid $17,500 in a private school here in Ca.
  6. Hi all! I just attended the seminar of the West Coast University here in Los Angeles, and I’ve found out that their career ladder program costs is $60,000 which include all the pre-requisites (which some of it are online classes) and it’ll take 18 months to finish the Associate degree. But if you’re finished with all the prerequisites, it’ll just take you only 9 months, and the facilitator told me that maybe you’ll just pay half of the $60,000... I’m thinking to enroll next year after I finished all the prerequisites in the community college. Because if I will depend on the community college or their waiting list, it’ll take me to finish longer though I‘ll pay less (much less!!!).. And I don’t want my science pre-requisites to expire. I want to finish as soon as my pre-requisites are done. My questions now are: 1. Is it a good idea to enroll in a private school rather than in a community college? 2. Is it ok to pay $30,000-$35,000 for that program? Is it worth it? 3. How can I manage my schedule for my work and time for my family esp. my 2-yr old baby? (My husband is a Licensed Vocational Nurse also) Any advices please?!:uhoh3:
  7. 1. How many questions did you take on NCLEX? I got 205 questions. 2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course? I used the saunders 2006 cd... No. 3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)? Yes, the ATI but it was useless though. 4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? It's about 1 month and a week to be exact!!! 5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? Problematic and was 100% sure that i failed because I was stressed out that I didn't sleep the night before the test.. :o:o 6. Was this your first attempt at NCLEX? Yes!!! Totally, my first and last NCLEX-LVN... Wohooo!!! Thank God!!! :balloons::lol2::balloons::lol2::balloons::lol2::balloons:
  8. I'm a new grad and just started in a convalescent hospital here in California and they gave me $20/hr.
