I agree, I work in a small hospital near Atlanta, RN's in our LTC are making upwards of $20.00, and with experience and shift diff - much more.

Try the smaller towns in a radius of 50 miles around Atlanta - they hire LPN's all the time. Starting pay is good - esp for a new grad. Most of the time, they are mor willing to teach you new skills and can be a "gold mine" of possibilities for advancement.
