CNA after 1st year of nursing school?
I just graduated my CNA school. I had to take a written test and do state boards. I am currently waiting on my license number. You may be able to work as an NA not sure. You should go to the state board website azbn.gov to see if they have any information there. Good Luck! :nuke:

Do CNAs have options?
I am thinking of signing up for a CNA class at a place that only has CNA and Caregiver classes. Should I take classes at a Community College if I want to be certified in EKG, CT, Respiratory, etc..? How long does it usually take for a CNA? This place is only 5 weeks and is really cheap. Should I beware? My daughters friend is going there. Not sure of their creditation? Please help!

Do CNAs have options?
Do you have to be a full LPN or RN to do the EKG? Or is that a seperate entity all its own?

Need advice on nursing school/prgram for second career middle aged woman!!!
Thank you so much for your posts I am also a 43 year young lol woman. I am so glad I am not alone. I looked at all the young kids in the schools and thought I was crazy for trying to do this so late in life. You have renewed my faith and excitement and drive to do this! THANK YOU! :redbeathe

Do CNAs have options?
If I become a CNA can I request to work with the kids or babies or is it strictly for adult care? I love kids I adore babies! Mine are all grown up now and I would really love to work in the kids unit or on their floor. Do you get a choice?
