Am happy to finally say that i things are going well, The last straw that broke tthe camel's back happen on yhe 13th day of june, on a monday before the the 13th, i and this particular nurse worked, i was the charge nurse, some of my private writing pad disappear only to reapear three days later, on the day it reappeared,it was only me and her that worked on monday, i confronted her by asking her if she is the one that put that writing pad on my desk, she said yes unconciously and realise what that mean and quickly said no, right there and there i wrote my resignation letter and gave my 2 weeks notice, she started crying and apologising saying that she did not mean for me to quit, i told her that she can have my job now, since she told some of the ptcs that she will rather work 6 days a week than work with me, 3 other ptcs also quit within 1 week of my handing in my resignation letter. My last day was on the 30th of june, on the 29th, i went job hunting and landed a job that pays me $40 an hour where as i was making $25.50 at previous job. Am very happy,i started my new job on the 4th of july, i am am now talking to another company to do acute.My area manager and my former manager were begging me not to leave and were offering me another position at another clinic ,i refused their offer, there were like if you can not work for us can you work for another manager at the same company and i said no. i am glad that i thing happened , because sometime, things happens for a reson to bring about positive changes.i now work in icu and am working on getting a part time acute dialysis position.

I will encourage you to look for another clinic,i just left resigned my job because of similar situation. Take the new skills you have learned and go somewhere where you will not be undermined. Goodluck.

Am now very depressed and worried over this. i do not feel like going to work any more, yesterday our staff and pt schedule disappaered for 3 hours i was the charge nurse and responsible for that scheduled, after searching for 3 hours, i called the manager and reported what was going on , just when i told that very rn that am not looking for it any more that i believe that whoever took that schedule took it intentionally, she went looking for and come back with 3 minutes later stating that she found it at the social workers office table, four of us have search every where for it the past 3 hour including the social workers office. Amazing, is either she took or she know who took it.

i have been in daiylsis for 6 months now, i have started just being in charge since last month, because am a new graduate ,i am allowed to be in the clinic by my self for another 1 year, last month,one friday, i was on my way home when my manager called me, she said wait i need to talk to you before you leave, i waited for 30 mintues, she went in her office and closed the door for that 30 minutes, when she opened her door, i went in ,she told me that she have something for me to sign, she wrote me up, Stating that 3 days back, i give hectorol to 2 patient but not the right doses,when i question her on how that is possible she said , that 2 employees witnessed it and called her attention to it and that she witnessed it herself, then i question her on why she did not call my attention to it right away, rather than 3 days later, i had no knowledge of this till she called me in her office with the write up, she said oh , i did not know about it till now,contracditing her earlier calm ,that that she witness it, i told her that knowing her, i know if she did witness a sring with another pt's name hanging in another pt med port, she will call me rt away, i told her that we draw up our medication and give it one pt at a time, there is no way i would have made such a mistake, i told her that i believe that someone is trying to sabotage my work, she paused for mintue and reply that she did not think that those two employees are saboteas, i strongely believe that some one want to get me, it seems that this one pct and one Rn is always looking for any little thing to report me,one of them could have taken the label from pt sringe to another or switched tthe sringes just to get me in trouble,especially when the pct worked on that very pod that day. i was offered to go to another clinic for a more experience nurse to observe me, i did go to a sister clinc and worked with a 25 yrs veteran dailysis nurse, upon compeleting my 2 weeks with her ,she told me that she recomend that i tranfer to another clinic that she did not think my present clinic is the rt fit for me. she question the intensions of my co worker and asked if i get along with them,i replied that i get along with most of them. she said that i need a better work enviroment than what i have now. since my return, one senoir pct at my clinic told me that they waiting for me to make a mistake. that why they are always checking my work behind my back, when i asked him why, he said because you do not fit in their click, you do not kiss ass and run to tell the boss every thing that goes on, that she prefers people that gossip alot, because that is the only way she get all the information she needs. I am very worried about my license working in a place like this,i will like to transfer but once you are written up, you are not eligible for transfer till after 6 months, this is my frist write up. The pct also told me that our manager usually write people up once their frist 6 months is up to prevent them from leaving because that clinic is like a revolving door, people come and go, the only ones that stay are the ones in the click. Am not saying that am above mistake, but this write up seems so phony to me especially since i did get the wind of it till i was called to sign it.That is my 6 months evaluation and rise, a write up. Am i paranoid

Hang in here, God will guide you. I do not understant why nurses are generally mean to traveliers or new employees.

Am also a new Rn in training at one of the FMC facilities in Az, my frist days of preceptorship, my preceptor who also is a tech, within 10 mintues of starting, asked me if i have a proplem being precepted by him, and i asked why, he said that i told me to put my hand anatomically on the side but i did not do it.i replied well, well we all have a way we carry our body as long as my hand beind behind my back does not interfer with my job , i do not see why i have to stand or look in a certain way to learn the machine. with this guy it is constant harrasment. But look past it and learn all you can. just know that you may be recented because you are going to be their boss. They may be trying to bring you to their level . just hang in there. Remember why you are doing this.

Are you in scottdale az(you may have to fluff their pillow alittle more) affluential, Kissup a little more, to be the kind of personal maid they want,if not,:lol2: you will certainly not fit in as a nurse. It is unfortunate that some patients acutaul think we are maids and that they are in a spa or resort instead of hospital. welcome to the world of nursing.

is it immoral to have a hip replacement or heart transplant.whatever anyone do to enhance their quality of life is not to be judged or considered immoral. i personaly will have any kind of cosmetic surgery if i figure it will enhance my appearance afterall, in this society, appearance is everything

Do not be one of those that makes some of these doctors think they are God's gift to women. Let him work for the relationship and do the chasing while you do the teasing so that he will appreciate you when you go out with him. I have three doctor friends that thinks nurses are easy catch, easy lay.Do not be one of the Satistic. The:uhoh21: truth is sometimes bitter.

i will be moving to phoenix in august so will like to know, i will like to apply in hospital but i do not want to limit my options because i will like to get a job as soon as possible.

what type of duties do an Rn perform in phoenix nursing homes and what pay is expected an hour. Name some good and bad nursing home(LTC) you know in phoenix and area where it is located.THanks.
