What are the dates to turn in your app for fall 2012 and winter 2013?

I took the CNA training through the Red Cross, and applied and got hired at a nursing home. I only worked there for about a month and i kept applying at hospitals and finally got hired at St. Marys in livonia. You could always try there if its not out of your way cause they do hire PCAs without experience.

I was confused too with the schedule because I remember them saying we would be going to class 4 days a week, but I don't start skills lab till weeks 10-15. Activity lab is Thursday/Friday and when we're not in activity lab we go to clinicals. after a few days of activity lab we have a few orientations too.

Is anyone in section number 1512?

nevermind, i'm going on Tuesdays from 10-12 but not till November? Is this right?

My sheet it only says lecture Monday 2-5 and clinical thursday/friday and like a few dates for clinical orientation, library orientation, and make up date for labor day. I dont see anything for a Lab date except a few but theyre on Thursdays/Friday.

I have the Thursday/Friday clinical class too. So, we go to lecture on Monday 2-5 and clinical Thursday and Friday which means we have Tuesday and Wednesday off except the orientations listed?

I am in the 2-5 class too. I would think we would receive our clinical in the mail sometime soon. hopefully by monday so we know.

I think that is the module because that's 13.00. The syllabus when I called today wasn't in yet and she said it should be in friday or monday

Anyone know when we're supposed to be receive our class schedules for NUR 1410?

so we only need 2 patches?

For first year students, the uniform you need are the green pants, green jacket, and the white scrub top right? I just want to make sure I am buying the correct uniform. Also, where does anyone remember where the patches belong? Thanks

Has anyone received their class schedule for pharmacology in the summer for the traditional program? I am still waiting for mine, and wanted to see if anyone else has gotten theirs or if they're still waiting.

You could try St. Mary Mercy Mercy Hospital in Livonia. I got hired right away after taking my CNA training through the Red Cross too. And we are always looking for help. Its a nice hospital to work for, and you get great experience.

I am out of town, and I was wondering when and how do you register for Pharmacology in the summer? When is the deadline to send all the information back?

I have 7 months of experience, but I am certified as a CNA. I don't think you need experience as long as you are a current nursing student or a CNA. It took them awhile to hire me because I had to go through a phone interview, and then i was contacted by the department 3 weeks later.

The new Henry Ford Hospital in West Bloomfield is hiring CNA's. go to the website and scroll all the way down to Nursing assistants listed under West Bloomfield hospital. I got hired and they open in February.

Does anyone know what the pre reqs are to apply to the nursing program? Also, how long is the wait?

Does anyone know if you have to attend a information meeting to apply for fall 2009 if you've already attended one before they changed the admission requirements? If so, what are the dates and times? Also, what are the dates for the 2 application meetings and times?

I took the CNA class through the Red Cross, and got certified within a week of finishing the class and got hired into a hospital right away. It just depends on the hospital where you want to apply some require you to be certified and some don't or you have to be in the nursing program. Usually the hospitals qualifications will say what they require.

I took my class through the American Red Cross in Detroit at the West Palms building, but I had to take my certification test at Lansing Community college. The class is only 850 dollars for 3 weeks. Henry Ford Community College and Lansing Community college offer CNA classes too, but more expensive then the Red Cross's program.

Full time. Is the accelerated program for you only if you have a degree already? and is that the same as the Fast Track?
