I was wondering if someone could tell me what their schedule is like for Block 1? I have 2 small kids at home and not sure what to do with them in the day. Anyone go through this program with young kids? How was it? I really just want to get this done, but not sure what to do with my kids and if I will be able to do this metally and physically with children. Thanks!!

So I called to get information on this school and the lady told me that classes could be anywhere from 7:30-5:30pm Monday-Thursday. I want to know if company's here in AZ hire CNA's with out of state licenses so that I can work my 80 hours. Thanks!

Because the CNA courses here are a semester long and I can go to another state and do it in one week (full time). I would like to get this done asap because due to financial circumstances I need to start working and this would be good experience.

I was wondering if anyone is currently in that program? I'm new to Arizona so I'm not familiar with all schools here. I was wondering if anyone could explain this program to me? Do you attend classes at the actual hospital? Is there a waiting list? Do you have to have all your prerequisites done? Any information you could give me would be much appreciated.

So I am thinking about going to school to get my RN but after reading about low pay, being unappreciated, long hours, etc. I am really scared now. I am torn between marketing and nursing (I know 2 totally opposite fields). I'm just wondering if I was to go through schooling and decided that bedside nursing is not for me, are there many clerical positions in nursing? Also, one of the things that really drew me to nursing was the flexibilty of schedules. But after reading stories on here, it sounds like the hours are long and irregular? I really need some help in deciding if this is right for me. I know I didn't mention this before, but I love helping people but I also love office, clerical work. Any advice??

I want to get my RN but the waiting list here in AZ are 2 years! I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get my LPN first and then go back and get my RN? I just want to be able to get done with school and start working. I'm not sure is there normally waiting lists for LPN programs? Also, I know this is a dumb question, but what is a LVN? What is the difference between an LVN and LPN? Thanks!!!

Hello! I am new here and have a question. I want to get my RN but as you know there are 2 year waiting lists at MCCC. So I was thinking about getting my LPN at EMCC at their skills center and then apply for the RN program once I have my LPN. I read on their website that they have advanced placement for LPN students who are wanting to get into the RN program. Would this be a good idea or just do the RN program? Are there waiting list for the LPN programs? Sorry, I hope all that made sense! I just want to get my schooling done ASAP so that I can start working. Thanks!!
