  1. Keep tuning here for people that would help you get through the program! Im balancing both LPN school and working part time. It's taking its toll but I will finish the program this year. Its true that sacrifice is needed to finish the program. I barely go out anymore and social life is dull but i know in the end it will be worth it. So keep focus and goodluck!!!!!!
  2. And oh yeah let me put in some suggestions. 1)3 ring binders, get the thick ones to organize your notes and hand outs. 2)Food! like cereal bars and other light snacks so when you're getting light headed youll be able to eat. 3)A good amount of pens, especially black ones. Try Pentel RSVPs they glide thru the papers with gentle pressure and leaves a nice dark fine ink and does not smudge. 4)Water! 5) Comfortable shoes, get those Nike shox, theyre really comfy. 6)Money,! always bring money. You'll be spending alot of money for nursing school. You'll be throwing money on books, notebooks, cds, tuition, equipments, food, travel. So bring credit cards, cash, coins checks or any other form of money. hehe. 7) bring your sense of humor!
  3. Debinding those thick books from Kinkos? wow thats the best idea ive come thru today. Everyweek I have to travel for 3 hours from my house to my school with a 30/lb back pack. I guess i'll be doing that soon. Thanks for the ideas guys! keep them coming!!!
  4. For some reason I could not join Ultimate Nursing so I went to google and started searching for other sites and then boom here i AM.
  5. "Go Getta" r kelly and young jeezy. (just how hard nursing is)
  6. Hey there, I'm in the same boat as you are. Sometimes i feel like giving up and sometimes i regret going to nursing school because i've lost alot but also learned alot. Its starts to get easier and easier once you commit yourself. Just hang in there things will get easier.
  7. Please guys I need some tips on how to study for the Nclexpn. Ill be taking the test this year. If anyone has an idea or experience about the test let me know. And please share your studying strategies. Thanks guys!
  8. Nursing school will break you down. well that was from my experience. But later on, as you start to absorb more knowledge, you will start to see why they have to push you. Things will get easier once your knowledge are widen. The thing that im anxious about is really being out there and working. Im still getting ready for the Nclex.
  9. Im doing the LPN program right now, and Im thinking in the future if I should continue to RN or not. Too much schooling you know.
