hi ,, I took the exam on last 17th, i was very comfortable while answering the exam ,and i had 75 questions to answer ,, i took sometimes to answer the question more than a minute , i didn't mind that ,, i thought some of the questions while more than two to three minutes i didn't bother to run out of time ,,when i checked the quick result yesterday i was shocked when i found that I failed ,, but when i read some of the sticks here , I won't give up , and I will retake the test again , waiting for the evaluation from the stat board to see what weakness i got in that exam so i will work on it , best luck next time ,,

thanks suzanne for your reply i've been in USA many times before , as a tourist so i am not worried about taking the exam in US or other places , i did some researches in the internet , however i found that i should be licened in USA , so i thought i might be able to study in those universities i if i have passed with the NCLEX , thanks anyway

what you need to know first before begin with step ; check this and put your plan and the steps , and you need to know in which state you would to work to be able to set up your plan godbless

hey !! happy new year to you all , :balloons::balloons: my plan for this year is to take the nclex rn exam in nc , thereafter if i pass the exam , i am planning to do rn to bsn program through online study , dose any have any idea about that matter because what i know [color=#004478]no license will be issued until proof of the social security number is submitted to the ncbon. is that possible to register for online study in one of the usa universities after passing the nclex ,,, thanks for assistance in advance

I agree with that , each country has different policies from others , and you have to be serious toward your job and even each state has its own political rule , so when you plan work a broad to any of the state you will have to know the requisites and the requirements need to be qualified to work to live there ,

no , we don't have to pass the nclex in UAE , i've studied in UAE and i graudated from nursing sceinces since 2002 and i am working now in abu dhabi , since 4 years , but i am planning go a broad in the states

yes we do have the Toefl IBT over here and IELTS exam as well but i will have to take one of them if i had the luck to pass the Nclex exam since that i will get the enough practise for that ,

i born in UAE , i have no restriction on life living , it is free country , you can wear any thing you want to wear , of course it shouldn't be over , beside that it a peaceful country , i am sure you will like to live there , and to live in peace you comply the rule of that country , and the policies and the produces of the hospital you are going to work in , something i want to mention also for you that , any female patient will not allow the male nurses to take of her , but the female patient can be under of male doctors , and the female nurses will taken care of male and female patient and this the rule of most of the hospitals in UAE , including my hospital i am working in ,and we alot nurses who are every months disregards the city , and no taxes are paid in the whole country , and may be as suzanne4 said the tax will be paid in your country disregard the source and the place of the earned money

oh yeah !!! i am planning to work in North Carolina too , and i thought that i should take the toefl first then to apply for licensure next , but i will read the reqiurement again of north carolina board of nursing , :) i realy do appreciate you advice to me , please do , thanks :):)
