Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
I usually dont post, just read. For the past 48 hours I have pretty much read every post concerning the "Pearson Vue trick". The posts comforted me because I received the pop up that so many have talked about. Even still, i was extremely nervous because I felt I failed the NCLEX-RN. I had 105 questions which consisted of 12 SATA, 6 med calcs and several priority questions. I was sure I got the last question wrong; therefore, i convinced myself that I failed. Well today I found out that the trick worked for me because my status changed to pass under quick results. To GOD be the glory, great things he has done! I'm an RN. Let the "PVT" comfort you along with the many people who decide share their experience with it.

Thanks Bezue! I appreciate your reply. I was certain that the program would be difficult. I am anxious to get started though. Since they are making changes to the program, very little info is available about the upcoming quarter. I'm so excited and I've managed to make it through most of the summer with all this anticipation only a couple of months to go before classes start. Do clinicals start during the first quarter? How many days per week should I expect to attend clinicals? I see the classroom requirements for the fall but information for lab/clinicals are TBA. Any insight to your experience would be greatly appreciated.

I have trouble admitting that I will be a nurse
Usually people who have issues with male nurses are ignorant to what nurses do. They seem to have some 'hollywood' image of a nurse with a cap and short white skirt. Knowledgeable people know that nursing is not that. I think that we all should take a bow for making a decision to help people. The word nurse will not define anything more than our position at work.

Honestly...Is there still hope for my future???
Never, give in or give up! Just keep moving forward. I had some major GPA issues and felt like I'd never get accepted into a program. In fact, I received five denial letters. Although I was devasted and felt like I would never get into a nursing program, I kept applying. Today I received an acceptance letter for Fall 07. As long as you continue to strive to get into a program you will always have a chance at getting in. Continue to do your best, thats all any of us can do. I'm sure everything will work out.
