Dekalb Technical college
this should be a pretty close drive and it goes against traffic depending on the time of day.

PCOS and implication for nurses
adding... i state np because the role that an rn place in regards to medical intervention is minimal and this person can not treat independently as an np would. this is why i suggest an np.

PCOS and implication for nurses
i've used it off and on. i usually forget to use it. but it does make the hair thinner when i remember to use it consistantly.

PCOS and implication for nurses
i think a np would best answer these questions. try that forum.

What are some US cities where you do NOT need a car at all to live / work?
outside of living in the midtown/downtown area, the op would greatly benefit from having a car. atlanta is very wide spread.

Minority SRNA/CRNA's
wow to have discrimnation compared to an animal speaks a lot to how you feel about discrimation. wow..again we have along way to go.
-
Minority SRNA/CRNA's
it's unfortunate that some people want to believe that racism and discrimination doesn't exist. it does...it's alive. even if one person experienced it, that validates it's existance.

Minority SRNA/CRNA's
thanks for posting this. i was considering two of the programs in the detroit area. it is unbelieveable that people still have this low mindset.

How do I know if Nursing is right for me??
to me, you won't know if you really like nursing, outside of your strong interest, until nursing school with clinicals or the actual job. shadowing and the like gives a glimpse but actually doing it tells the true story. being that you have such a strong science backgroud, why not try an acelerated program in your area. that would be no more than 12-16 months of your time. you probably already have all of the pre-req required for most nursing programs. just the online curriculum for schools in your area and speak with an admissions rep.

Tests don't match lecture, notes or review
i am not but he's from that area...around the city.

Tests don't match lecture, notes or review
i thought it was strange too. he just said it was personal issues, nothing illegal, just personal. humm

Physician pats patients on the head

Tests don't match lecture, notes or review
i've had poor teachers too but never to the realm of disfuct.

Tests don't match lecture, notes or review
i can't begin to understand where he got these test questions. it is the craziest mess i've seen in the realm of education. it's frustrating to say the least. he's a new teacher (an md) and says he doesn't want to get a rep of being an easy teacher. what a fool!!!:uhoh21:

Tests don't match lecture, notes or review
at this point, i don't know what do do. i assume to read and memorize everything in the chapter rather he says it's important or not. this is complete nonsense.

Tests don't match lecture, notes or review
hello all, i need a few opinions on this topic. i am taking a few of the pre-reqs this summer and they are really getting on my nerves. i've taken two tests in both classes and both times in each class...the test doesn't match the lecture, review questions or notes. what is going on here? though no one has said, it's affecting scores and morale. there are only two weeks left. is this how nursing school is? i've been through an undergrad and grad program and this hasn't ever happened.

Taking A&P I this Summer? Would you do it again? Vote here!
i am taking ap i now and will start ap ii in july. i like the condense version much better. i did all of my pre-req (the ones that i didn't get in undergrad) this summer except i will be taking organic in the fall.

Too much protein?
the key term that you used is no carbs. atkins doesn't say elimiate all carbs.
-
Too much protein?
kimmer has a website but it costs to join. if you go to any low carb boards, there are tons of threads with people who are doing kimmer challenges. however, there has been a lot of mispresentation of people who loss weight using kimmer on her site.

Too much protein?
where are the studies to support this? the atkins diet supports lean meat and a healthy portion of carbs/fat.
