here are some of my stats.. i was accepted to UofD CRNA starting in fall 2009... I'm living proof that it's not all about #'s... 3 Degrees (BS physiology, MS basic medical sciences, BSN (accelerated)... No CCRN, all GPAS btwn 3.0-3.5, going on 2 yrs CTICU/cardiology experience in teaching/urban medical canter, GRE under 1000, but over 800... Interviewed at multiple schools throughout the country and got into a few of them.. Only got an interview at UofD and Wayne state in MI(applied to all 5 schools in MI) and was only accepted to UofD. I interviewed at UofD today.. laid back, 10 people in room. asks clinical q's, asked about why UofD, asked about volunteer experience, asked about shadow experience, what i like to do in free time.. j

I like to tape my ET and OG tube together, but not to much tape. I just dont like the OG tube coming out if it's not secure. I work on a cardiothoracic unit. j

Hello, I just interviewed at UofD mercy today. I interviewed at Cincinatti in November and it was an awesome interview! I got into Cinci, but deferred a yr because I'm hoping to stay in state (Michigan). I was very impressed with both schools. My GRe score was under 1000 and I have almost 2 yrs ICU experience plus 3 degrees. Private message me with any other questions! J

hello, I'm not a student at Wolford, but I did receive an interview back in September that i never went to. I'm from Michigan and it appears that everyone who does apply there gets an interview??? I'm not so sure about this school to tell you the truth... I chose not to attend my interview because I knew I didnt want to relocate to Naples because of finances. BEautiful city but veryyyy expensive. Good luck! ' jc

GRE under 1000 nursing school GPA under 3.5 1st degree under 3.5 and masters degree under 3.3 1.5 yrs ICU CTICU experience no CCRN yet. jc

Hello, interviewed yesterday at univ of cinci.. All I Can say is awesome program and I was very impressed with staff and the type of interview. Very laid back and not rapid fire. Nothing bad to say at all.. It's a waiting game now.. jc

no i didnt get in! lol i interviewed there though.. i guess having 3 degrees all science and meeting all criteria isn't good enough. At least they got my money for the prereq grad stats class.. Good luck

there is no matriculation fee that i know of so far at akron.... i'm interviewing at UC at the end of Nov.. I might just send my acceptance letter and see how the other schools play out.... Like I said I rather stay in state right now (michigan). I'm waiting on 2 other schools in MI right now. Thanks for the help! jc

Found out that I'm in at Akron.. need to let them know within 10 days from now if I accept... IS there any negatives to this program that anyone knows about?? Interview was different and short.... Kind of waiting on my home state schools (michigan).... Decisions, decisions... JC

hello, I interviewed at Wayne State today.. all i can say is very stressfull....... They pimped me alot on my previous educations, since i have a total of 3 degrees. Hopefully I get in. Still waiting for oakland... when did everyone hear from oakland>???? CVICU80

hello, yes i do have one yr of ICu experience in Detroit. I'd like to think that I will be in the ICU less than 10 yrs before i get into crna school. my 1st degree was in physiology from MSU and my 2nd degree was a master of science in basic medical sciences from wayne state and my nursing degree BSN was from oakland accelerated 12 month. My over all GPA is below a 3.5 but over a 3.0 and GRE 1st time taking was below 1000 but over 800. I'll keep plugging away and hopefully get in somewhere. JC

Hello, I was wondering if anyone at all has heard back anything from Michigan State University in regards to the 2009 nurse anesthesia admissions. I'm a bit upset with them in regards to communication and feedback regarding my application. I've accepted the fact that I probably didn't get an interview there since they were held the week of June 23rd....... I also did not receive a letter stating that I didn't get an interview. Through multiple emails and phone calls I still have no feedback and I went there for my 1st undergraduate degree in physiology. Maybe this explains why they are a new program. anyone have any comments???? thanks JC

HEllo, JUst started studying for the GRE today... I must say alot of pointless and irrelevant material covered on this exam.. I could see if the exam was testing nursing knowledge like physiology, pharm or biochem for crna school, but it doesn't.. I'm sorry, but how does geometry, algebra and verbal correlate with anesthesia school?? Reminds me of the MCAT days.. another pointless and irrelevant standardized exam. Anyone have anything to add?
