I was just wondering how many have heard back from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga CRNA program. They just held the interviews. How many did they take for the next years class? I am an alternate and sweating bullets for a spot...

Thanks for the input...it really helps...I am confused between the lines of what they think i should know now and what i will learn in the CRNA program. How in depth am i expected to know things as a nurse.? I know why the certain drips and what effects it has on the different systems such as CO and vasoconstriction and heart rate...do they expect me to know the receptors of the drugs as well?

I am interviewing in a few weeks for a CRNA program. Rumor has it that they ask you to discribe a critical patient that you have taken care of and they begin to drill you on that patients care....What type patient do you suggest..??

I am hearing letters have been sent.....Anyone got good news to share...???

I am so excited....I have been granted an interview at UAB....I am looking for any students that have been through the process and I am wondering what to expect....

Well I received my letter yesterday....I GOT an interview...mine will be done the first week in Jan 2010.. When I started this 2010 seemed so far off ... now it is just around the corner....Ok now I need any advice or tips form former students that have interviewed. Who else is going in Jan???

Hey I did some snooping... I was told that 89 applicants for the Birmingham component....25 will be accepted and the letters will go out around Thanksgiving..Hope this information helps.....

Does anyone know how many applicants actually applied to UAB???And when will we here about the interviews? I heard that the Birmingham component takes 25 students....Anybody know anything else??

I too did not score so well on my GRE.. outside the fact that I have 16 years critical care experience..it is disappointing that this means relatively nothing.... In years past one particular school has not really stuck to the 1000 necessary...until this year..just my luck. Didnt get an interview this go round and I was informed that it was due to my GRE.
