You also need a license from the Philippines if you plan to take the NCLEX Exam here in Washington. I suggest that you should take your licensure at the state of California 'cause they don't require license from back home.

Yes, you need to take a CNA course. If you plan to take the NCLEX, you need to take TOEFL and CES report from CGFNS.

hi, kristyhellmann. Do you have a license as an RN in the Philippines? If yes, then you don't need to go to a CNA class. Just fax or mail the copy of your license, diploma and TOR to OBRA Nursing Assistant Registry and they will send you an application packet including reviewers on how to take the CNA test here in washington.
