At a Crossroads and Confused
I say take the level 3 nicu position and get a PRN adult or peds position somewhere else. After you have some time at both positions, then I believe you can make an informed decision. The actual hands on experience can give you more insight. Just my 2 cents🤔

Assisted living turned nightmare
This is illegal to have you completing company duties off of the clock. That is a labor law issue. Secondly it is also illegal for you to work full-time without taking a lunchbreak. My advice to you is to seek employment opportunities elsewhere, but follow up with legal counsel for the labor law issues. Because your nursing license and piece of mind are priceless.

Family Member Watching Pro-terror/ Anti-America/ Anti-Semitic video
So when a person of color or a women is taking care of a sexist or racists patient/family, they can decline? As an adult, you will encounter people that have different points of views from yours; however your job and responsibility is still to provide care for such individuals/families. If we can refuse treatment because of sex, race or religion; many people would not receive health care with this way of thinking 🤔

Why preceptors don't precept
I want to be as proactive as possible with my learning experience, which reference books would you recommend for advance pathophysiology, advance pharmacology and health assessments? I am aware that some medical books maybe my option. I want to be as prepared as possible for clinicals and during my future practice. Any pearls of wisdom will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Reference Books Recommendations
Hello All (Current NPs and or Students), I want to get started early with a solid foundation as an APRN. Although I haven't started a program as of yet, which reference books would you recommend for advance pathophysiology, advance pharmacology and health assessments? I am aware that some medical books maybe my option. I want to be as prepared as possible for clinicals and during my future practice. My current goal is the MSN with PMHNP track. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance:)
