  3. hi mhel. there's another thread that might have answered your question already. didn't know that this thread back when i started the referred thread..sorry about that. here's the link: https://allnurses.com/forums/f75/new-nclex-rn-passing-standard-whats-impact-204274.html
  4. thanks a lot for this info, suzanne :) as always, you are there to straighten information that may mislead others :) referring to your reply -- then, there would be no issue whether one should be able to sit in the exam before april 1 2007? it boils down to preparing one's self fully for the nclex.
  5. now that's another way of looking at it...
  6. i see. so then, if it's possible, the repeaters take the nclex again before april 2007 -- to at least have a higher chance of passing? how about the first timers? previous posts state that the materials or way to study for the new test plan wouldn't matter that much. isn't there new topics included or at least restructured..? i think it's in management of care...or something... thanks for the replies, by the way :)
  7. hi ashley19. the best way to get the procedure is to first know which state you would like to get your RN license because the process and the requirements may vary per state. then search the web (or allnurses.com, for the links) for that state's board of nursing. their own website will tell you what to do. through that, you get a first-hand information. after reading their process, if you still have some questions, log back in as most members of allnurses.com are willing to help you out.
  8. so just repeaters with 265 questions? what about repeaters in general...? i've read in other forums that some got 75 items but failed (although they say that those with 75, pass)...so what about them? those with 75 and failed, and those who failed not reaching 265 questions?
  9. thanks a lot for your replies :) it really helped a lot bringing down my anxiety with nclex :)
  10. hi. i've just joined allnurses.com and i would just like to know what is the impact of the new passing standard issued by NCSBN. does this mean that nclex will be harder when implemented come april 1, 2007? the 2007 test plan seems the same with the current test plan...if i missed something, what's the difference? i'm currently doing first tip of suzanne's plan for nclex so i'm kind of concerned if there are other reading materials i should go through after i finishing saunders. anyone with helpful info please. thanks. here's the official info release: https://www.ncsbn.org/1090.htm
  11. Thanks for this post. I've just registered here and it's great finding this kind of message. My life's a hell right now with the RN thing and all (will not elaborate though...). I still have to pass NCLEX and your post really lifted my spirits up. Good luck in your exam :)
