I understand you. I want to work in USA too. I have passed NCLEX, no problem, but I am feared that I will not understand normal speak on the floor. English is so ridiculous language for me - so many exclusions, so many idioms. How can american people understand each other, I dont know. But may be my language would be much more difficult for foreign nurses. Pleas, pleas be patient. We are not uneducated or stupid (most of us) and we do our best. We have only other mother language.

Pleas, can somebody tell me what is Red Rover? We have in my country a lot of nice bloody childrens plays, but I cant imagine what are you speaking about.

I am a czech BSN nurse and I wont to work in USA. You cant imagine how hard it is to go througt all papers. I passed NCLEX but the bigest problem is for me the exam from speaking english - by IELTS I have to have 7.5 points - really difficult.

I am a nurse from Czech Republic and I have a question about possible culture difference. We are taught that we can touch our patient as often as we like. Male patients is better to touch only in those body areas without sexual impact - for example shoulders or elbows. How often do you touch your clients (I am not speaking about normal touching by procedures) and do you have any problems with it? Sorry for my english I hope you will understand me.

I am a BSN from Czech Republic. In my country live only ten milions people. We have to learn foreign languages from primary school to university degree. In nursing schools are foreign language lessons (most english or/and german) obligatory also. But only few nurses speak very well - you can see from my writing, our skills are limited. But I learnt english, german an russian - my mother language is czech.

I am a BSN from Czech ¨Republic (small country in Europe). I will next yëar go do work to USA. I know I have to improve my english before (you can see from my writing). But I want to know your opininon now. Do you like work with foreign nurse who can quickly learn and do her best, but all is new for her and she has hundreds of questions? She can tell you a lot of interesting thinks about care in her country and bring you some new ideas but need a long time your help? It is a chalenge for you or a nigtmare?
