hi ted, don't feel bad.you have come a long way. some people are very smart but just not good test takers. not passing exam first time wouldnot make you a bad CRNA.believe it or not, once you pass it you will forget all the pain.you were able to get through such tough prog.if you could do that then you can pass the exam next time in flying colors.have faith, focus and get it done. good luck!

its okay to feel like this.everyone has this problem. first, focus on present.anytime, your mind wanders off just reroute your mind.take 10 min. break after each hour.drink lots of water. limit caffeine as it dehydrates and you loose your focus.exercise everyday for atleast 30 min.which would increase your focus by increasing blood circ. to your brain.all of us are aware of these little things but just dont pay attention to them unless heard from someone else.i was the topper in my all of my science courses. i used a good recorder to record lectures and listened to them while working out.made files and wrote my notes down.would go through previous notes for 15 min and then started with new ones.donot just sit down a night before exams.it would just stress you out more.

hi jackielou, getting your CCRN would make your admission inevitable.I was able to take CCRN exam and pass it after studying for 5 wks. and I have two little ones at home. I bought LAURA GASPARIES VONFROLIO dvds. I also switched to trauma 1 SICU.only saw 3-4 swans during my year there.surgeons are turning away from it .get a letter of reco.from an anesthesiologist .It weighs a lot.With almost same credentials like yours,I applied to 4 schools and got in at 3.no matter what happens ,donot let your coworkers know of your plans.There's a lot of jealousy.GOOD LUCK!

If I were you, I would stick with Barry .Its an awesome program with great reputation.One more thing, if you didn't have a good feeling somewhere to begin with, you won't feel safe there.And here, you are chasing your dream.Don't let anyone ruin it.GOOD LUCK!

By the way, I am starting my program in june.If someone has any question regarding interviews or CCRN,would gladly help. I have gained lot of knowledge through this forum.
