  1. It means you passed. I have looked thru this entire site and not 1 person who did it right, fail. Wait for your OFFICIALS but CONGRADS!!!!
  2. I would like to share my story in hopes of helping someone else. I took my NCLEX-RN on 9/14 at 11am. I came immediately home and tried the trick. It said "on hold" and about an hour after that it said those famous words!! So I assumed/hoped/prayed that I had passed. The next morning I woke up and got on the BON and may name was not there. I was devestated. So for the entire next day I threw up, had diarrhea, etc. I was a mess. Then it was time to check my quick results. I checked my message status again and then paid for the instant results. I HAVE PASSED. This was my 3rd time trying and I live in Kansas. What I did to pass. I did Kaplan, saunders, priority and delegation (linda lacharity), nclex cram (i think it was called). Numerous questions on there disk. I also answered questions on the nclex-rn 3500. Good luck to everyone taking the boards. Don't give up!! To you that passed, may your brains find a little piece now;)!!
  3. Don't get discouraged. I am on my 3rd time and I also don't feel good about it. It doesn't mean you won't make a GREAT nurse. It means you have trouble with the test. I can't give you any great advise b/c I have none but just know this...you are not alone. Look at this thread, it has really help me. Go to the top with google search through allnurses and type in anyone for random fact throwing. Hope it helps, its helped me a lot. Good luck and don't give up.
  4. Thank you. For Kansas its every 45 days up tp 2 years. Thats like 8 test a year. So 16 total times for my state. WOW, thats a lot. Then after that they tell you to take a refresher class. Another option is to make a study plan and turn it into the board and they have to approve it AND then a licensed person must make sure you do the studying and write a paper on it saying that you did study.
  5. I was just wondering. How many times can you take the NCLEX exam before they make you stop. What would happen after that. I was reading about someone who said they only had one more time to take it.
  6. I'm just curious. How many times can you take the NCLEX exam before they won't let you take it again? What would happen after that? I was just wondering because you said this was her last time.
  7. She probably moves departments because of the complaints. Which means that its your turn to complain. If you are picking up double your load and getting stepped on, you need to stand your ground. I would bet that you take this problem home with you as well? What would happen if you told her NO? What would she do...complain? P.S. Just because she is an RN does not mean she is above doing work. Good luck!
  8. I am graduating from there this month. This is a very hard school. You have to jump through hoops, suck it up, keep your mouth shut and keep going. I will be a better nurse because of it. Nursing is not for the average person so you have to expect to do more than the average to make it through. Just make sure this is what you want to do because it could break you. If it is, study hard and you'll make it. FYI...after I got into the program I started understanding how some of the schools work. I think it would have been better for me to go to a 4 year university for my BSN because you get a full semester for a class instead of 8 weeks. Good luck in what ever you do!!
  9. I am the same way. I know my information and I am a great nurse in clinicals. Have you heard about the Virtual ATI. They work with you and have a personal instructor to help you. I personally bought 4 NCLEX books and I'm just going to keep my head in it until my test (June 30th). Goodluck to you! Do that self talk thing and tell yourself you can do it!!
