  1. We use HFNC, bubble CPAP (which everyone hates) and mask/Prong CPAP. All the RT's talk reverently about vapotherm though and wish we had it back. They did bring it back to the peds floor after the scare, but not to us.
  2. Each baby has their own stethoscope on our unit as well.
  3. I wanted to share a little bit of mispronunciation on my part. When I first started in the NICU I was corrected when I called our BOS (bedside observation sheet) a POS. (piece of S***) LOL. OOps!
  4. We have computerized med charting. I noticed the other day that when I went to click on PIPPS (newborn pain scale) that the word neck came up. I had charted that my patient was a pain in the neck!!
