I also worked in IT for 5 years and I am now a nurse for 1 year. Just like the corporate world, nursing have some negative issues but I know that I'm more at peace in nursing than the business world. I can't stand the politics in the corporate world. Although these things also happen in nursing, I look at the the positive effects that I can bring to the patients. For me it's about making a difference in someones life and this is what keeps me going. Hope everything goes well with you.....

Hi, I'm thinking about going into home health nursing,and wondering what are the requirements to be a home health nurse? Do I have to have a BSN or an ASN is ok? Do I need at least 1 year of hospital experience or no experience at all? Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

They pay $29 for new grad plus $4 night diff, plus $1 for BSN. Hope this helps.

I was offered a job at a big hospital where I was accepted in the specialty unit that I liked and the shift that I like. I took the job and I'm really excited. I'm scheduled to start on July 18 but I haven't signed any papers yet. Last Monday, another hospital called me for an interview. This is also a big hospital with magnet status, this is my dream job. I don't know what unit or shift they will offer me but ever since I was in nursing school I dreamed about getting a job in this second hospital. What will I do? Should I still go to the 2nd hospital for an interview and find out what they have to offer? I'm so confused right now. PLease help!
