  1. WOW is all I can manage to get out. I am almost 30, married, 3 kids, and still in RN school.
  2. A nice littel old man in a wheel chair waved at one of my co-workers (a pretty littel 18 year-old, fresh out of high school sugar and spice type of girl). He said "honey come over here please" as she bent down to talk to him. He moved the blanket covering his legs and SPLAT! he ejaculated right in her face and mouth. I never saw her again and thus my nursing career beagn........... him and the pb&j sandwich lady used to work together!:blushkiss hands down by far the funniest and most disgusting one i have read yet!
  3. YOU are on an episode of PUNK'D! This is too funny and gross to be real. :rotfl:
  4. leave her an anonymous note telling her to go to allnurses.com and check out this thread!
  5. hello, Remember 1 Peter 2:24 Says that "by his stripes we are healed" I pray that whatever is causing the pain and mass will no longer be, and also for the Dr's wisdom on how to proceed. All this in Jesus's name.
  6. Hello all, My husband is military and we will be stationed in alaska and I was wondering what the demand for RNs were in fairbanks or Anchorage? How are the areas as far as things to do and expenses? what about the cold, the 6 mths of light/6 mths of day. is that hard to adjust to? I have two small dogs a chiuhua (sp) and a pekingese. will they be okay. oh and let's not forget the bonus that residents get every year! How does that work and how long after do you qualify. how is the pay for RN, i looked up online and salary.com says midrange salary was 70k. What would a new grad make? i am interested in cosmetic, OR, and ER. Anyone that lives there please respond thanks Niki
  7. Hello all! I read a couple of threads about "no RNs in OR" and I wanted to know how difficult it would be to get a job in plastic surgery. Aren't some surgeries done in-patient in a hospital? I graduate in Aug 07, do the surgeons hire new grads? If so how is the pay and will the surgeon train me or are there courses. Is it any different than normal OR? I find cosmetic surgery very interesting. I want to work in the OR period. Any one have any experience or advice? Thanks Niki
  8. it sounds like you have some of the concerns that I have. I graduate in Aug 07 and I love the OR and have strongly considered working there. its a toss up btwn that and ER. Anywayz my RN friends keep telling me that i will lose my skills if I stay in the OR. That i don't want. I have small children 2 yrs old and 7 mths old and i would like to be around for them. Any advice on how not to lose skills and still do what I love along with being around for my kids. Anyone have any thoughts? Dom's mom:rolleyes:
  9. thanks Army MSN for the infor. do you know anything about Japan?
  10. Hello all! I will be graduating nursing school in Aug 07 and I have questions about working outside of the country. My husband is in the Army and we are trying to go to Japan or Germany. How do I apply to work at a hopsital on post at these duty stations and would my license be good there since they are considered the US? Also what about working on another economy (not on post but in another country) is that possible? Is the pay any different with military facilities. Also how do I go about negotiating a salary where ever we go? Thanks in advance.
