  1. We have CPSI currently in our small critical care facility and it is not what I think it could be. We rushed into our go live(almost a year ago) and been trying to clean it up every since. I work in the OR and we use mainly Eforms but we have been doing the Initial Interview and Initial Assessment on flow charts to mirror how Med-Surg gathers information(as to ease with surgery admits to the floor). My question is what are the processes you use at your facility? Is there anyway you could post some examples of your eforms (as I also am capable of creating eforms). Appreciate any advice to make admiting outpatient surgery pts more reasonable. It is currently taking one person almost an hour to admit a pt.
  2. "CRNAs who are very anal and give inservices on everything as if you are a retard. "Hold cricoid until I say let go" but then another one says "Look, when I inflate the cuff you need to let go!" The patient tries to tell you something while you are holding O2 on induction so you lift the mask a little to hear them and the CRNA starts screaming like you just ripped out an art line or something. Chill OUT!! There's more than one way to wash a pot. " OMG you must work with the same boys I do! This just happened to me last week, I don't know why but the CRNA's tend to get on my nerves often. What do they learn in their extra training that gives them this "I'm holier than God complex". Seriously YOU'RE A NURSE, get your own paperwork, your own old records, attach the patient to the monitor yourself and oh..DO NOT wave the leads in my face cause I will just tell you "Those are EKG leads, they go on the patient". Aye aye aye
  3. In firefox you can hit control and the plus sign to zoom the screen in. Just zoom in 3 or 4 times and you can see them fine. (Control and minus sign to zoom back out)
  4. I hate hearing anything that begins with "oohh chaaarge nurse" in that tone that you know, I'm not going to like this.
