  1. I'll be following this thread. I will also be applying Nov 1st:)
  2. Mjones138 were you in the front row on the left side of the room? I was in the front on the right. I wanted to come introduce myself but then we got split up on the tour:(. I was so impressed with the tour though and Dr. Davis. I'm praying that I get in too!! I got the email from UU saying they received my verified NURSCAS and will send a decision for acceptance after they review. **Biting nails**
  3. I agree! And I'm not sure who on the faculty and current students being there.í ¾í´”
  4. I haven't heard anything yet either but I will be at the information session this Thursday :)
  5. Sierra1995 Congrats on the acceptance!! I actually live here in Nashville.
  6. No I sat there and entered each and every course. It was painful bc I had 5 transcripts lol. My status has been updated to complete so I guess verification is next. I hope it doesn't take the whole 2-4 weeks:(
  7. I've applied for the spring 2019 cohort too. Im waiting on nursingcas to upload all of my transcripts. And still waiting on one recommendation to be completed.
  8. I'm still gonna keep hope alive and wait for the end of april/early may deadline that they keep giving me when I call. The last time i called she said the applications were awaiting committe review and that they would meet at the end of this month to start reviewing apps. The Fall 2006 class was the first full uninterrupted school year since Hurricane Katrina which is probably why those students got their letters in June/July. I'm with ya'll though....the wait is insane and i too will have to pick up and relocate at the drop of a dime so my nerves are really bad trying to wait it out!!!!
  9. I was being over anxious and called to check the status of my application but all she said (in admissions) was that it was currently under commitee review and that they would meet sometime at the end of this month. She still holding us to the late april/early may time frame before we'll know anything.
  10. I'm probably too gutsy as I have called several times since I submitted my application.....For simple things such as making sure they recieved it and that I wasn't missing anything. The last time I called I actually spoke to the woman that sent us all that applicant email and she said we would hear of a decision either way by late april, early may.... Well there goes my nerves:sniff: !!!! Good luck to us all though
  11. Hi guys Dsoginer I also applied to this school for the fall semester so good luck to us both!!! I called to make sure my application was recieved and asked about when a decision would be made. The lady I spoke with in admissions said Late April/Early May. My nerves are gonna be so bad because thats a long wait!!!!!!!!
  12. No problem! No actually you don't have to reapply they automatically put you in the stack to be considered for the next semester once your folder is complete. I know about that whole run around situation believe me!!!!! I actually called several days left several messages before I actually got my question answered. Just hang in there:p
  13. Hey MartinEMT I don't mean to bring your hopes down but I was told by the admissions coordinator at CSN that your packet isn't complete until EVERYTHING is done including Pax scores. I took my pax in october after i submitted my application in august and I got knocked down to the Spring 08 semester instead of the Fall 07 semester which I applied for. She said that I won't here anything else until around June but at least I can put my nerves on hold until then:roll !!!!!
  14. Did they mention anything about deadlines for applying for the nursing program once it is accredited? Are they giving out applications now? I have been trying to get in touch with someone at BRCC for more information but nobody was very helpful:o . I kept getting transferred and put on hold!:angryfire
  15. Anorma-Yes OLOLC is Our lady of the lake but its the Accelerated ASN program which is located in New Orleans. The main requirement is that you have a four year degree. Then there are other pre-requisites which you must have completed before entering the program. They do not require the pax exam or any other pre-admissions exam. If you're gonna apply for the Fall 2007 semester Hurry!!! The deadline is January 15, 2007. They only accept 50 students once a year in the Fall. I was told by an admissions rep that it is very competitive. That they go through 250-300 applications. Also, if you don't get accepted, there is no waiting list. You have to keep reapplying. Log on to their website to get some information. Our Lady of the Lake College I took my pax in October 2006. My scores actually took less than two weeks to come in...I was surprised! Just hang in there:)
